Amen. Blessings.
Debbie often came to Laguna Woods CA to visit her mother, Aunt and Sister. She often came to our Temple all for Seniors to teach us her songs.
She was everyone’s friend and left us her gift of her music.
Rock star cantor.
Thankyou and all blessings from G.d … Germany here..
Debbie , of blessed memory, grew up in St Paul,Mn & was a fixture in the twin cities of MPLS & St Paul. She was a major influence in the Jewish camps here. ✡️
Thank you Azi for all you do
Debbie walked in the footsteps of the Baal Shem Tov, Shlomo Carlebach and many others before them to bring joy and blessings at times of pain and sorrow. It is music that brings hope in troubled times. Today are such times in our world and we must find a way to once again have music bring peace to our hearts and souls. Let’s always remember John Lennon’s IMAGINE and do what we can to make his dream a reality. To plagiarize
If you will it it is not a Dream

I am privileged to have met Debbie z”l in the early’70s & as a friend she was an important part of my journey to become a new Jew, being an inspiration and bringing her music and energy to many life experiences starting with my wedding. She may longer be physically present however her spirit, music, energy are eternal.
Wonderful concert! Thank you to the cantors, musicians and tech team for bringing this beautiful music into my home.

Debbie was a magnificent gift which was taken from us much too soon. Sometimes it is very hard to say “Baruch Dayan ha emmet”.

I used to play in a klezmer band based out of Tampa in the 80’s. When she would come to town we backed her.

BEAUTIFUL AMEN.

I think some of these Cantors could easily have careers as solo artists or in Broadway musicals.
Would that be of higher value than being a cantor?
Azi sings much better than most Broadway actor singers and as well as most opera chorus tenors.
Healing, and Joy, and during the 5784 incursion into the Kibbutz from Gaza we need to be strong together, m

I just finished listening to Sing Unto God for the umpteenth time . Debbie wrote and directed my high school camerata as we recorded her music at Sound 80 studios in Minneapolis in 1972. She touched our hearts too.
Beautiful music
If I knew about this spectacular concert, I would have went. I’m enjoying every minute of the affectionate tribute feeling the love and admiration by Manhattans best cantors and the one and only Bat Ella.
