I want a macaw so bad but I live in Georgia and there are not many macaws around here I dont know what I should tell my parents so I could eventually get one

I have several here in Atlanta metro area each year so that is no problem That is the kind of thing your parents have to want to do also. The bird and you have the same life span so they will have to take care of it when you do things like go to college. You would want everyone to bond with bird as much as possible. Birds are loud and messy so everyone needs to want a bird because it is an inconvenience to everyone. Sorry but it is true, generate interest in birds in your family if possible is my advice.

For me, my mom wanted a macaw same as I, and knows well enough that she will have to be taking care of him the times I'm at college. It really is important for your family to be able to accept and bond with any pet so they are well taken care of and receive attention when you're not there. I have a baby male harlequin.

I have a question, would you be willing to trade a blue and gold macaw for a pure white boxer terrior???? Please, I've always wanted a blue and gold macaw, ever sense I was 9.
