I found something cool you might want to check out. Is you Google search for "Trackdok" there's a awesome video on how to make a cheap DIY root cellar/SHTF bunker. Check it out.
I´ve owned one of these for about a year, and it´s a nice little multitool overall. That been said, I must warn not to wear it in your trousers pocket because the tab to secure the plier handle/Philips screw has the tendency to open, and having that poking your private parts is not a pleasant feeling. I tried to fix it with a little rubber band covering the tab, but it didn´t work . So my advice is keeping it in a backpack, range bag or anywhere else except your pockets!
I think SOG have taken on board the criticism about this issue, and fixed it. I've just bought one of these, and the tab or clip to release the pliers handle can only be activated on the other side from where the clip is. So mine doesn't accidentally open and poke into my family jewels.
I LOVE THIS. It looks sturdier than some of my smaller multitools and the pliers look stronger too. Thank you @SensiblePrepper. I wouldn't know about these great items without your reviews.
Got one of these in a Christmas pack a few years ago. Could not find a use for it until I thought about a MT in my range bag. Works well for that, definitely. Thanks!
Great that you call them out on it not actually having 9 actual tools. Big complaint I always have about multi tools is the marketing saying something is a tool that isn't.
Found it useful for everything a jackknife can handle, probably is 50/50 for pliers but would rather have a gerber/leatherman full size multitool for most situations. However the fero rod and file places it in my hiking bag as my 4 in 1 file isn't replaceable but a "just in case" tool works. Still the phillips screwdriver I haven't found a good use as most screwdrivers found on a victorinox are just as awkward to use.
Have had one of these for a couple years now really like the tool but I quit carrying it because the lock will disengage and the pliers will open in your pocket. Really wish sog would fix that and I would buy another cause it is a great tool.
The steel coming out of china is not great, but its not super terrible either. For the money its a great little gadget. Its not meant to dissemble the space station. Its just nice to have for little odd jobs. Frankly for the price point its pretty snazzy. Great video.
I gave it some serious thought but ended up getting a mint condition leatherman pst for about the same money, why they discontinued it I will never understand its such a good tool :) thanks for the review, I bought a maxpedition gyrfalcon backpack based on your review of it
I watch enough of your video's, not surer why I was not subscribed yet? problem solved! I like the looks of this tool but will continue my search for a leatherman squirt replacement, I'm on my second one, broke the file, dropped it yesterday on wood floor and the scissor spring broke off. I'm not returning it again.
Apart from the Juice there is no LM in this size category...the Squirt is much smaller and not as robust...this clips in my pocket and I hardly notice it so it's ideal EDC. Sure I have larger multitools (Gerber MP600, Swisstool Spirit) but I don't walk to the shop to buy milk with these on a belt pouch lol, but I never leave the house without the SOG. As far as micro multitools go, this one is pretty good, like I say, the Squirt is just too small and the Gerber Dime and Vise have quality issues. The best knife or multitool is the one you have with you when you need it.
It looks like one of those cheap multi tools with a hammer and or pliers. But this does look nice. Great price I wouldn't mind one in the collection as well as a Switchplier.
SOG have now resolved that issue, the clip/button now only works on the other side of the tool from where the pocket clip is. I wear tight jeans (not skinny, I just cycle a hell of a lot lol) and it never accidentally opens into my family jewels.
I'd have bought a juice too but at the moment they're unavailable here in the UK, don't know if they're discontinued, or just out of stock. I was looking at the Squirt but the pliers and knife blade are just too small, this is more substantial and robust, and so far I'm happy with it.
True bro, but as I always EDC an SAK Classic for the scissors (which are the same size as the scissors on the Squirt) and a Farmer or Hiker for the saw and bigger knife blade, as well as the awl, together with this, I have an awesome but very compact and portable toolset.
Bro I always EDC 2 SAKs, a Classic and a larger 91mm or 93mm alox but if you want pliers the smallest format you can get these on an SAK is the Deluxe Tinker and that's just a bit too thick for me in terms of layers...also those pliers seem a bit small to me, so I EDC this together with the SAKs, no problem at all. I am gonna buy a Deluxe Tinker just to see how the pliers are though, as I love Victorinox too. Classic sits in my coin pocket and is virtually unnoticeable, this mutlitool clips inside my rh pocket, and the Victorinox (Farmer or Hiker) hangs off my belt in my back pocket with my keys. That way I have at least 3 blades of different sizes, saw, scissors, screwdrivers in various sizes and pliers, in a compact and lightweight format.
Great MT
Great review thankyou
Thanks Doug!

Great review! Just ordered one from SOG. You have the best two channels on UA-cam. Thanks for the great gun and accessories reviews!

Great advice. It would strange to have the lever opening it in my pocket! lol! Thanks Cristian!

Been using one now for about a week...Its done a fine job, cant complain at all.
I love me some SOG tools. Own almost one of every item they make, jave used them all considerably and never had one fail.
Good to hear that. I own some SOGs too, but only had some chance to put them to real world tests.
Got one of these in a Christmas pack a few years ago. Could not find a use for it until I thought about a MT in my range bag. Works well for that, definitely. Thanks!
I purchased this based on this video review.... Excellent and straight forward review.. Nice!
Very Cool SOG multi tool Sootch00. As always long live the republic my friend.
Just ordered one,Don! Appreciate the review.
Great video. You always include good information and I love how you put the bloopers at the end. Thank you!
Thanks Sensible Pepper, I just ordered one since I broke my Gerber Crucial.
Basically I snapped the pliers at the hinge separating the two handles...
Good review. A nice little tool. Thanks!
Thanks Mary!

I love multi tools and gadgets
I like it I may get one for myself, I've been carrying a gerber dime for years and love it
Very Good Review. Thanks Brother South Carolinian.
Parabéns meu amigo pela apresentação deste micro tool e le é muito melhor que outros que vi no UA-cam. Abraço
Best Review, greetz from good old Germany. 🤙
Those are very nice I like watching you shoot your videos
Nice video, again. That cross point/plier handle looks like it would double as a marlin spike for knot work.

Super, very nice review👍👍👍
Nice- gotta find one of those for my EDC bag.
I got to point out, use blue locktite to prevent screws and bolts from vibrating loose.
Great video Sootch! Seems like we need reviews on some specific AR Multitools.
Thanks buddy - great multitool 👍
I like your watch!
Cool little tool!
Before I buy tools I go on your videos to see if you reviewed it and if it is good
I'm with you. Multi tools are too heavy to EDC. I'll pick this up. Thanks
It's spot on for EDC. The Squirt is just too small for me so I opted for this, and don't regret it.
I loved it !! 😊
Too bad that wasnt a deep carry clip, I like the size
Have had one of these for a couple years now really like the tool but I quit carrying it because the lock will disengage and the pliers will open in your pocket. Really wish sog would fix that and I would buy another cause it is a great tool.

It's almost like a multi-tool you got when you got for Christmas and a gag bag
I wish.... this is getting expensive! lol! Thanks CJ
It was a multi-tool like that popular during early 90s late 2000
I gave it some serious thought but ended up getting a mint condition leatherman pst for about the same money, why they discontinued it I will never understand its such a good tool :) thanks for the review, I bought a maxpedition gyrfalcon backpack based on your review of it
maybe you could take a look at the SOG Powerpint?
So you could just get rid of the knife and would it be travel (tsa) friendly? Been looking to put together a good travel kit.
16 + ON Amazon
Good review.
Intro music reminds me of Pink Floyd. I immediately liked the video 👍🏻👍🏻
Thank you for the review! Looks like a tool for my range bag. I wonder if the large flat screwdriver can also be a choke removal tool for my 410?
Great review. I wish I could afford all the stuff you have. You have a great channel. I wish mine would grow like yours.
Hey man - cool review.
If you want a really capable but small & light Multitool, check out the SOG PowerPint. It is my new EDC & I love it
Hello, would you still recommend Cannae Legion day pack?
I worry that the spring location weakens the the handle
Oh yeah, another one for the tackle box.
Are there any tricks to sharpening my Gerber Splice scissors?
Hey Sootch,
Can you do a review on the GRAYL Geopress? It seems superior to the Ndur canteen and the sawyer water filter.
Hay don can you do review on the condor 3 day assault pack you can get it for pretty cheap
I watch enough of your video's, not surer why I was not subscribed yet? problem solved! I like the looks of this tool but will continue my search for a leatherman squirt replacement, I'm on my second one, broke the file, dropped it yesterday on wood floor and the scissor spring broke off. Or one of the original Stanfield multi-tool
Stick with Leatherman, you'll thank me later.
Open your mind, and welcome to 2020. You’ll thank me later.
Sog multitools put leathermans to shame

Would be a great pair with Victorinox Farmer。
It is. Also with a Classic for the scissors and tweezers. Those 3 are my EDC right now.
with some 550 cord the lanyard hole turrns this tool into a hook if you dropped something into a hole.
I'll give this one a thumbs up for $20...no doubt.
It looks like one of those cheap multi tools with a hammer and or pliers. But this does look nice. Great price I wouldn't mind one in the collection as well as a Switchplier.
China. :( Nothing against the country but the steel they use in this type of consumable is awfully soft
Finally
Lol! I'm getting there! Thanks Caleb!
What's up sootch
That button is placed in a bad spot. It catches and opens too often for pocket carry. It's a nice little tool though so it's in my EDC bag.
SOG have now resolved that issue, the clip/button now only works on the other side of the tool from where the pocket clip is. I wear tight jeans (not skinny, I just cycle a hell of a lot lol) and it never accidentally opens into my family jewels.
Nice looks like a tuff bit of kit, have a lighter version.
i carry a large SOG multi-tool and i can always rely on it to work.
Can you do survival uses for used gift cards
try the rovyvon keyvhain flashlight has 550 lumens
Have you picked a 'winner' yet? Thanks Sootch!
ANOTHER mini tool?? Come on, Sootch!!
I'm on a quest for the Holy Grail of Multi-Tools!
@J Kowalski I'm actual his evil twin! lol!
@@SensiblePrepper get the Victorinox multitool it's definitely one I managed to edc out of many I own
The audio is very quiet when you are at your bench.
Idk about this one. I'll stick with my juice or my swiss army knives for edc multitool
I'd have bought a juice too but at the moment they're unavailable here in the UK, don't know if they're discontinued, or just out of stock. I was looking at the Squirt but the pliers and knife blade are just too small, this is more substantial and robust, and so far I'm happy with it.
EDCable.... you may have coined a new term here.
It is an American make of the Russian Army officers multitool.
I know the one you mean, the Ratnik, that thing is bombproof but bigger and heavier.
Do you EVER open your kind of drink? ;)
this tool needs a can oppener also
Good review but I don’t see too much use for this thing.
If this thing had scissors or a saw blade it would be awesome, what a waste putting a bottle cap opener
True bro, but as I always EDC an SAK Classic for the scissors (which are the same size as the scissors on the Squirt) and a Farmer or Hiker for the saw and bigger knife blade, as well as the awl, together with this, I have an awesome but very compact and portable toolset.
Sog was a good company I don't know what happened I kinda wish that they wouldn't have draged there name threw the dirt with products like this...
More than 7
HEADS UP! A channel titled ( Survival Dispatch ) seems to have stolen your content! Amongst other channels and putting them up as theirs!!
Im pretty sure he is affiliated with them.
Doubt it
I have this and don't care for it much
This tool sucks fall apart on me. Had to return it
man buy a victorinox (Swiss Army Knife) and thats it... why try something else??
Bro I always EDC 2 SAKs, a Classic and a larger 91mm or 93mm alox but if you want pliers the smallest format you can get these on an SAK is the Deluxe Tinker and that's just a bit too thick for me in terms of layers...also those pliers seem a bit small to me, so I EDC this together with the SAKs, no problem at all. Sog stop selling them 😑
cool, but it is ugly :3
20 bucks? hmm not bad and a big surprise about the price on my end.
