In your opinion which do you think is better for a cheaper daily driver build but still decently fast, a g37 or 35? I’m looking into getting one but I’m not sure which to get. Also do you think the sport is worth it or just a waste? Idk if you’ll have time to answer but thought I’d ask. If anyone else has some info lmk pls.

@@stuarttaracena4608 vq’s are dope but nissan did such a great job of squeezing as much power out of them as possible. It is just hard to make big gains from them. But they are super great engines I have a 3.7 q50 myself.

@@pdubjank7454 yeah swaps though are kinda pricey too, everywhere Im seeing is 15-17k for a BUDGET build..
@@feint007 swaps are pricey for sure but there's no reason to build a vq, I love my G35 to death but the vq just ain't it, my G35 already has a cd009 6 speed so I would keep my trans and use an adapter plate but you would need to relocate the shifter, obviously gut everything under the hood, one of the most expensive items for the swap is the wiring harness
@@pdubjank7454 yeah man Im in the same boat I guess, theres some 5.3 engines in the pick n pull here close but the actual swap kit is more expensive than a engine. I believe I have a cd008 since my G is a 2004. Another problem is there no swap shops nearby for tuning and wiring.

You can slap on a turbo kit and fuel system but 700 on stock motor is probably not gonna last long. 600-650 is doable safely
