When Tommy said Dream wanted the one thing he cared about, he wasn't wrong. But I dont think it was just the one thing. Yes Dream want the disks, I mean if he had them he'd basically control tommy. But I think he also wants something else. He wants to turn Tommy and Tubbo against eachother like Tommy said he was doing. I mean Tommy has made it very clear these last streams that there is only two things he cares about on the server, the disks and Tubbo. He cares about Tubbo more than anyone, since the beginning it was always the two of them. If he'd loses the disks to dream, he'd still have Tubbo to fight by his side to get them back. But if Tubbo turned on Tommy and put the welfare of the country first? Or exiled him? Tommy would probably not stand a chance against Dream.
Tommy however fucked up in two major ways during this stream and a lot of people think the Ranboo's comment helped but it really hinders Tommy in the long run. Tommy fucked up first by going out of his way to almost mock Tubbo for even thinking that Tommy was ever going to listen to him president or not, Tubbo is hurt by this comment and it hits harder when you are trying to help someone you care about and they laugh at you. Second fuck up was his wording, this is a quote, "Dream only wants the one thing I care about" Tommy tried to fix it seconds later but the damage had been done. When Tubbo called Tommy selfish he didn't want to believe it but he suspected it, when Ranboo disproved that Tommy was selfish Tubbo had to face that Ranboo was right, Tommy wasn't selfish, he just doesn't care.

Why does exiling Tommy makes Tubbo as bad as Schlatt? Schlatt exiled Tommy and Wilbur to snuff out the competition against him so that he could remain in power. Tubbo however, the reason for exiling Tommy is for the sake of the country and the people who lived in it. He put the country first because Dream had endangered everyone for Tommy's actions and exiling Tommy is the only way to keep everyone in L'Manberg safe

@Raccoon Boi i disagree Tommy getting exiled would be a HUGE twist like he was one of the founders of l'manburg and got banished from the place he built with his friends. he will most likely feel betrayed because his friends didn't stick up for him and team up with the enemy (aka techno). if they dont exile him, l'manburg will go back to stage one and most likely start a war for freedom all over again. it would be predictable since we have seen them fight for their freedom already. though there are new people so that might spice things up. Tommy will most likely die permanently either way. which is why i say he goes out with a bang.

Phil gave up his ability to respawn to ensure he would never be responsible for taking someone’s last cannon life, they’ll exist one way or the other that’s the only reason why GhostBur exists. I can't agree with Tommy on this one. What his character did was absolutely to the core selfish. He had no regard for what his actions would do to the people of his country. Ranboo is right that Tommy isn't ALWAYS selfish, but in this instance he absolutely was. Tubbo gets that aggravating Dream means another war, it didn't matter if Tommy even had leverage. Dream is sneaky and takes what he wants, he would have gotten the saddle back had he wanted it enough. Tubbo wants peace for the server and every one is ganging up on him trying to make him out to be the next Schlatt when he's done nothing but try to build his country up. As long as Tommy remains a part of L'manberg peace will not be an option for them.

This is why I think exile is inevitable. From the start its been clear that Tommy's main goal are the disks. He joined l'manburg in the beginning cause Wilbur took a disk. He cared about peace and stuff but the main goal was to retrieve his disks. The problem is that now his best friend tubbo is the president with a whole bunch of responsibilities and can't come along with tommy.
Tubbo avoiding war with Dream is frankly the best possible outcome. Tubbo knows that L'Manberg is horribly outclassed when it comes to fighting. Another war would only tear down the nation they had just managed to rebuild. And Tubbo would be the third and last president if Dream wanted to put an end to L'Manberg once and for all. So really, Dream can demand anything he wants from the L'Manbergians, and Tubbo knows this, which is why Tommy taking responsibility for his actions is the best course of action, since it keeps L'Manberg still standing.

I see a third option. *Burn the discs.* Dream wants the discs, he's not gonna stop. It's the only thing he cares about, he said it then and there. So if the discs are gone, there will be nothing to fight over. Only L'Manberg, but Dream doesn't care about L'Manberg.
Those discs were not only the foundation of several quarrels but the foundation of literally the last two wars. If they were to burn, everything would change. Ultimately I’m saying your suggestion - although very reasonable - feels unthinkable at this point.

When Tommy said Dream wanted the one thing he cared about, he wasn't wrong. But I dont think it was just the one thing. Yes Dream want the disks, I mean if he had them he'd basically control tommy. But I think he also wants something else. He wants to turn Tommy and Tubbo against eachother like Tommy said he was doing. I mean Tommy has made it very clear these last streams that there is only two things he cares about on the server, the disks and Tubbo. He cares about Tubbo more than anyone, since the beginning it was always the two of them. If he'd loses the disks to dream, he'd still have Tubbo to fight by his side to get them back. But if Tubbo turned on Tommy and put the welfare of the country first? Or exiled him? Tommy would probably not stand a chance against Dream.

Tommy however fucked up in two major ways during this stream and a lot of people think the Ranboo's comment helped but it really hinders Tommy in the long run. Tommy fucked up first by going out of his way to almost mock Tubbo for even thinking that Tommy was ever going to listen to him president or not, Tubbo is hurt by this comment and it hits harder when you are trying to help someone you care about and they laugh at you. Second fuck up was his wording, this is a quote, "Dream only wants the one thing I care about" Tommy tried to fix it seconds later but the damage had been done. When Tubbo called Tommy selfish he didn't want to believe it but he suspected it, when Ranboo disproved that Tommy was selfish Tubbo had to face that Ranboo was right, Tommy wasn't selfish, he just doesn't care.

Why does exiling Tommy makes Tubbo as bad as Schlatt? Schlatt exiled Tommy and Wilbur to snuff out the competition against him so that he could remain in power. Tubbo however, the reason for exiling Tommy is for the sake of the country and the people who lived in it. He put the country first because Dream had endangered everyone for Tommy's actions and exiling Tommy is the only way to keep everyone in L'Manberg safe

Phil gave up his ability to respawn to ensure he would never be responsible for taking someone’s last cannon life, they’ll exist one way or the other that’s the only reason why GhostBur exists. Unless they change that reason, he won’t come back as a ghost if he dies.

I can't agree with Tommy on this one. What his character did was absolutely to the core selfish. He had no regard for what his actions would do to the people of his country. Ranboo is right that Tommy isn't ALWAYS selfish, but in this instance he absolutely was. Tubbo gets that aggravating Dream means another war, it didn't matter if Tommy even had leverage. Dream is sneaky and takes what he wants, he would have gotten the saddle back had he wanted it enough. Tubbo wants peace for the server and every one is ganging up on him trying to make him out to be the next Schlatt when he's done nothing but try to build his country up. As long as Tommy remains a part of L'manberg peace will not be an option for them.

This is why I think exile is inevitable. From the start its been clear that Tommy's main goal are the disks. He joined l'manburg in the beginning cause Wilbur took a disk. He cared about peace and stuff but the main goal was to retrieve his disks. The problem is that now his best friend tubbo is the president with a whole bunch of responsibilities and can't come along with tommy.
Tubbo avoiding war with Dream is frankly the best possible outcome. Tubbo knows that L'Manberg is horribly outclassed when it comes to fighting. Another war would only tear down the nation they had just managed to rebuild. And Tubbo would be the third and last president if Dream wanted to put an end to L'Manberg once and for all. So really, Dream can demand anything he wants from the L'Manbergians, and Tubbo knows this, which is why Tommy taking responsibility for his actions is the best course of action, since it keeps L'Manberg still standing.
