For what it is worth, it is nice that Manley provides these specifications. ARP is somewhat contradictory in their catalog. In their current catalog, there is a table on page 57 that says 55 ft/lbs. However, when you look on page 57 for bolt set 256-6301, it shows a stretch of .0065 - .0070 @ 45 ft/lbs. I found that neither of these was achievable. 45 got you nowhere near that stretch and even increasing the torque to 70 did not yield the desired stretch and actually ended up binding the #1 assembly. It must be noted that I was re-using a set of ARP2000 from a motor that I did not build. It is completely possible that these bolt had been previously overstretched. I should have listened to my own advice, "When in doubt, throw them out". New set of bearings and bolts inbound. Hopefully, this solves the problem.

Need to add a clarification. The correct aftermarket bolts for the 4V style connecting rods is the 200-6207.

No he just hopes for the best out of the other 7 rods, The man has thousands of dollars worth of rods and equipment there clearly he has shown on that one rod that he knows wtf he’s doing so I’m sure he has measured the other seven rods. Dumb question dude
