Ok I saw a mint looking 1973 Yamaha CT3 175cc gas tank on the floor next to the Suzuki RM. Where’s the rest of the bike? That was my first bike and here I am 50 years later still riding.
Man the colors are gorgeous. It's not a gas gas, but I think you need to keep this one because it matches all of your Factory team colors. That would look sweet on display when you haul your bikes around with the new semi. Or throw it in the back of your mini-truck thing that you bought from overseas!!! YEAH BUDDY!!!! 🇺🇸🇺🇸🦅🦅
Absolutely gorgeous nice to meet you Jeff 700 cc absolutely gorgeous every Bell and whistle when I seen you ride it was a beast Kaplan Cycles number one God Bless America❤
Awesome video! 👍👌, I'm glad to see that Jeff is back at the shop again, and I love that gorgeous Maico 700, that thing will surefully rip the house right off the foundation!!!, I can't wait to see Two - Stroke Tuesday tomorrow, tell Jeff I said welcome back!, I still remember the video with the Suzuki GS, and the cops were coming down the road as he did a huge fat holeshot and wheelie, and I think you yelled at him to come back around lol, well anyways, Jeff is a legend, and I'm glad that you have him on your team of already skilled techs, I can see the passion in Justin's eyes every time he talks about motorcycles and he is always really enthusiastic, so he is also a great addition to your team as well, Thanks for the video as always, 👍😁😎👌
@ 0:01 Brings back memories. Back in the mid 80's my Dad and I were eating lunch one Saturday and my friends snuck in our shop and wrapped my '77 Elsinore and my IT 250 in duct tape, almost as much as that new Maico. God forgive me but at the time, I wanted them to bleed for that. 🤣
Wow, wow! Wasn't expecting another new Maico! So glad you're featuring another one! It's so cool to see a bike that has very little information on it up close and in depth. I love it! It'll be one of your best two stroke Tuesdays yet. Will you feature a supermoto version of it? You have some amazing bikes there; I love what you guys do and your mechanics must be in Heaven to work on such a unique variety.
Welcome back Manic Mechanic..I absolutely love Jackie. Jeff keeps his coat of hair gorgeous. That Maico is a gorgeous monster big bore. The fact that the Maico Manufacturer follows Jeff's lead speaks large volumes. Jeff is probably more knowledgeable than anybody that Maico has working for them. Wouldn't surprise me in the slightest. That truly blows my mind when Jr says he was doing business over his cellphone, at the same time he was running a 23 mile marathon. That's some seriously strong cardio that Jr has. Is that Maico more noticeably faster, with a much more aggressive powerband, and more torquey for the person riding it, compared to a person that would be riding another big bore 2 stroke mx dirtbike, like Jr's 1989 CR 500 with a racing engine on it?
I had to replay to make sure I heard you say "get it through inspection" Are you saying that this awesome monster can be registered on the road? Please be true!!
I had a Hustler T250 71 Suzuki that I resurcected, had a left side kick, got it running rode it a few times then sold it. Was difficult to kick left side for sure, I was just glad it did not have crazy compression. I have kicked 500 CR's and 650XR's but a 700 wow, does it have E-start and FI?
I'd love to see one of these 700's really worked to it's max potential. Close to 100hp should be possible with the right mods/tuning. I hear to really get the most out of that 700 engine you need an exhaust to match and the expansion chamber would need to be comically large.
Curious about the potential if doing a full port n polish on that 700 2-stroke along with increasing the compression to around 10.3:1 or so and still run pump gas...betting it would wake from it's slumber
DAMMM, that's the first time I've ever seen one. with some klotz, I can smell it all the way here in Michigan.. It has to be close to $16000 or better. What a beast. 2 strokes forever
DANG MAN THAT THING IS WICKED! Just got my milkcrate/barnfind 75 BMW R75/6 running not as good as your scores but damn its kinda cool... ATB from the Ozarks...
Yeeehaaa Jeff Casteen is back where he belongs, the size of that Jug on the 700 😅 ,reminds me of a crucible for melting steel with an ARC furnace, and the carbon gasgas 125 is soooo beautiful 😍 😎🇬🇧🤠🙏🇺🇸
Holy balls that jug is insane!!😂😂 I would not like that lefty kicker even with devomp switch. Where was this bike in the 80s when you could ride everywhere? And that would be sick unplugged and throw a climb swingarm on her see how she climbs
Is there any truth that Jeff your master mechanic was the head mechanic for Jim Ellis ? one of the foreman here at work told us over lunch that in MID 1980S Jim Ellis competed in The Finke Desert race here in Australia and Jeff took care off hes KTM 495 as nobody here could set up that bike like your master mechanic
The lucky soul that gets this...SM setup mandatory. Street legal big bore 2 stroke dirt bike from the factory...Unheard of in the US, these days. Most of the work is done for ya. Lucky mofo, congrats!!
Manic Mechanic is back, Hell Yeah!!

Unobtanium. Great to see Jeff back.
Edit-Throwing a hotdog down a hallway. LMAO.

That's some serious respect when the manufacturer is learning from Jeff. Excellent video!!!
Of all the bikes ive seen on your channel would love to see you do a replica of evel kneivels xr750 next to robbies 500
😂 dedication man. Selling whilst on the run. Bucket list is a trip to the Museum and shop. Love and respect from New Zealand man

We gotta hear that Maico 700 rev my man! Cheers from Bakersfield, CA.
Hell yeah 2 stroke forever 🇺🇸🦅🤟🏼
Good to see Jeff!
Gorgeous bike ❤. The only thing I would have to get used to a left side kick start but I would gladly learn..

What a sick bike! Sounds terrifyingly fun. Biggest bike I've ever rode are suzuki 500cc, which know is no match for that 700cc monster!
Love the gold rims! Love the bike, beast!!
Absolutely Beautiful machine. Cylinder is huge.
It sure is!
Jeff looking so much like our Dad...Nice hair cut by the way.😁😁l😁
Spend some more time on the kawasaki enduro's. Love that blue 250, looked like a 1975, and the bighorn 350, wow great bikes
I'd sure like to see what the 700 two-stroke can do with a snow bike kit in the mountains
Ken what's the scoop??? are you bringing in Maicos now? or would I have to go through Koestler directly?
Kaplan Crew best in the world bikes thank you all for our work keeping our church awesome
I want 1 where can I get it and how much
Damn i didn't know they were still around 😊
Absolutely Badass!!! I covet thy Maico!!! If I didn't have so many project bikes in the barn now...maybe I could slide this past the wife...;-))
You should!

Holy torque monster Batman!! Would ya just look at it.
Hewa powa
Any chance you can weigh it? The claimed weight of 111kg seems a little unbelievable.
How rough is kickstarting that bay boy?
Holy balls that jug is insane!!😂😂 I would not like that lefty kicker even with devomp switch. Where was this bike in the 80s when you could ride everywhere? And that would be sick unplugged and throw a climb swingarm on her see how she climbs
How long is Jeff up for?
Till it starts snow and again
But why is the Kickstarter on the left ?
What is the Cost?
How much?
👹MONSTA✌️💨 ITS ALIVE‼️
Let's hope somebody that knows how to ride a bike purchases this one unlike the last one!!!! I'm still worried about that gentleman… 🇺🇸🇺🇸🦅🦅
Got tape? How much for one of those things??
Yes please 🙏🏻 😍
I could do that with the lights on!

How much is something like that out the door? I can't afford it either way but dang, motivation.
Is Hewa Power a Maico built engine? Can't seem to find any info on it.
Wow what a machine....❤ It!! 😊
An Absolute Diamond

That cylinder reminds me of a nuclear reactor. I guess it will be making some power.
Where’s the electric start!?
