I hate sarjeras sooo much. The power creep from a quest reward to a big body that's also a twisting nether. Damn.
@@Antical it's "powercreep" only if it was ever relevant. Both Lakari sacrifice and Niru were extremely underwhelming cards in standard and wild
I love Scary Gary. Only Titan that doesn't feel bad getting destroyed immediately after hitting the board.
Nah the Shaman titan also pulls its weight with just one use, as long as you have a spell costing 2+ mana he's essentially at a 3 mana discount and does way more than a 3 mana card would with just his effect. Plus it forces your opponent to remove it immediately unless they want you to get more discounts that would make him free.

Symphony into Sargeras is actually incredibly strong even in Standard. Sargeras on 5 or 6 with mana to spare is really hard to answer.
Feels weird that kazakus doesnt make the cut any more but looking at the list and what it wants to do it totally makes sense. Paying 4 mana to set up either a above average board clear next turn or a decent group of 10 drop finishers just doesnt really cut it.
Tbf, expansions ago I felt crafting it wasn't worth and only mage could make him playable in log versions just for polymorph effects or a turn 5 play. Alot of board states push so much power before kaxakus comes down

Potion isnt that handy, its alot of value but not alot of tempo unless youre taking the 1 pot, in which case you lose the value. Its not worth playing a 4 mana 3/3 to get it, just put a card that does what you want pot to do in the deck instead

You could even just play Thaddius warlock, which is basically a wild deck in standard

@@raer5373So you're defending a deck that can cheat out a titan, multiple 11/11s with taunt that reduce your cards cost to 1, summon giants with rush wish ass whooping stats, has life steal, single removals, mass removals, and can easily come back from his lack of early game, too ? Someone is playing tw here..
And to be fair it's pretty easy to clear overload shaman's board before they shoot you with lightnings and stuff, you just gotta smorc less my dude

the superchat about algalon reminded me about a game I lost recently where a plague dk ensured I had the frost plague on top so I couldn't play the double drum circle and lost. Very anecdotal, very painful
Interesting deck idea! I can't wait to finally get Sargeras someday... I keep getting every other legendary from the guaranteed legendaries in the XP track. I did notice something about Reno decks in this expansion, though... Fair warning! Plague DK decks actually completely screw over Reno decks because they add duplicate plagues into the deck!

Maybe I just am playing in a different meta, but when playing this deck I never ever needed the 4 mana murloc.
Love control decks that react to every play from the opponent.
Yup, took a similar(MartianBuu's w/a few changes) Reno Lock to legend. Was quick from D3 to legend.
The era of big demon Warlock being the default Warlock control shell is over and I will forever miss it. I will miss you Bloodreaver Gul'dan...
Or I could just add it anyways, anti-synergy be damned. Sometimes I resurrect 8/8's sometimes I get a board of 3/3's but I am having fun.
I mean, with some demon support, it can become a thing again.
Voidwalker and Manari are still decent cards.
Pretty sure the only real anti-synergy off the big demon package and this would be hitting sargeras off voidcaller or skull, because then it's completely worthless for 3 turns. But even if you summon a few imps off guldan it's still prob worth. I think the big reason *not* to play it though is just that it's super greedy, probably too much so for most of your wild matchups and you really don't need a board refill if you resolve sargeras

Symphony’s really good
Prob the best card outta the four you mentioned in most control/big warlock decks plus it’s gonna be in standard for the longest amongst these if you play are both a wild/standard player
It’s also used in duels if you are into that mode
Realistically, you need them all.
But I think you can cut Giga or Tamsin.
Preferably none of them. They are all really good cards in the deck. If you had to choose though, Tamsin is probably the pick. It's a great card draw and board clear combo, but it's not really a core card. Symphony is really good and will win you many games. The option that draws your highest cost minion for 6 less is the obvious highroll because 3 mana Sargeras is absolutely insane. The discard 6 from your opponents deck is also a really good anti-combo/control option. Gigafin is also nutty. It's another full board wipe, which is obviously useful, and if you get it down early with Seadevil Stinger, you generally win against all aggro decks. Astalor is also just a really good card in it's own right but it would probably be the second option I would cut.
