Afterwards, Zim's invader coding kicked into overdrive, erasing emotions and replacing them with the desire to conquer the world, to destroy what had hurt him the most. Dib was alarmed by his friend's seemingly overnight transformation, and told his girlfriend that he had to help which resulted in an argument that led to him leaving her behind and instead racing to Zim's house. There he found murderous robots, the likes of which he hadn't seen in a very long time. Upon bursting through the door he found the entire living space destroyed, as if a tornado had swept through, leaving behind gashes and the remains of the objects that had been there previously. Racing down into Zim's lab, he froze at the sight of his best friend. Zim was cackling in front of a massive screen that displayed two looming aliens, both wearing unsettling grins. They all turned to look at Dib and Zim's laughter cut off as he twitched, emotions that were erased fighting to make themselves known. And then Zim turned back to the screen and grinned.
"Excuse this lowly invader, my tallest-," Dib shuddered at the unfamilliar tone in his friend's voice. Zim continued, "-but it seems that I have some business to attend to. I'll report back to you once it is done." The tallest nodded with matching smirks before the signal was disconnected. Turning, Zim regarded Dib with an expression he couldn't identify. And then, with a series of clicks, the small alien was then looming over him, claws outstretched and smile wide. "Hello Dib-thing," he hissed, "I believe you have something that belongs to me."
