If only we could send you our anecdotes of success Ms. May, as we apply the different strategies you've been teaching us all these years. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts 💕💕💕. Advance Merry Christmas everyone! Toast to us Team Tiffany! 💖💖💖
Love this!! Going to show a picture to my kids too. We do desk fairy but a lot of my kids need major help cleaning their desks. I’m gonna show this next week and try to do a New Years cleaning
Since seeing this video we have done this in my classroom. We have tables not desks, so I snapped a picture of what the room should look like at the end of the day. How the chairs should be stacked. How the tables should be organized. This video was a blessing, they did amazing and I didn't have to keep reminding them it was time to clean up. 🙌🙌🙌🙌
Hello Miss May! Loved the video… so cute! I will be introducing this end of the day procedure when we return from our Winter break! Wishing you all the best! Happy New Year! 🥰
What kind of method do you use for storing their weekly work? Do you staple packets for your students that you hand out weekly for writing, phonics. Vocab, and math? How and where do they store it? Individual folders or or do you just have one folder for them to use for everything? I am having trouble having to replace the folders.. I used a 20 drawer cart system And the drawers are falling out. So I'm starting to wonder if a binder with dividers would be a better solution to store their weekly work that I pull together for them.
I have daily drawers labeled Monday-Friday. This is where work goes that they need to complete. I'm not too fond of packets and prefer individual sheets. So when the day comes for a particular assignment, I just take it out from that specific drawer. Now, for copies that are made for future weeks, I store them in separate drawers labeled, math, reading, writing, etc. My students have individual folders to keep work. ((HUGS))
Can you link your clean up song? This a great idea it never occurred to me to put up on my slide a clean up song and picture. Great idea! I usually just tell them it's time to clean up.
This is so random but do you have any advice for marking my classroom carpet when carpet spots won't stick? Carpet stickers won't work with the type of carpet I have, but I want to mark the spots where students are supposed to sit. I teach kindergarten.
Mine are aloud to talk while they unpack theirs bags. This is something you would have to model, model, model your expectation. Then I would have them practice what you modeled. ((Hugs))
I love that you have the picture of what their desks should look like as a clean desk. I have 5th graders and cubbies, but I think I might just add this on to my slides as well. I already know it works well with every other thing I want them to see. 👍 Merry Christmas 🎄
Also what do you do if one child feels you are giving too much attention to another child. They feel jealous and they want me to give them a compliment or say what about me.....
That's a discussion that happens at the beginning of the year. I make sure all my Firsties feel loved and my favorite. I can't stand favoritism. I also, teach my Firsties not to ask me if I like what they did. Never ask for a compliment. They know now that Miss May will always give compliments and that favoritism is in my vocabulary. ((HUGS))
Two smiling faces. What an extra treat. So many gems of joy and wisdom in this video.
Thank you so much! ((HUGS))
I absolutely loved it. He was so articulate in explaining the how and the why of daily clean up.
Thank you so much!!!! I can't wait to tell him about all these fantastic comments he's receiving. So proud of him. ((Hugs))
Too Cute. Its always better for them to explain it themselves.

Thank you! It's called, Hey Everyone. I found it on Soundcloud. ((HUGS))
Hello I watched and like your channel all the time. My question is where did you get your boy and girl poster pictures from.
I purchase the clip art from Melonheadz Illustrating and then I have them blown up with our school poster maker. ((HUGS))
This is so random but do you have any advice for marking my classroom carpet when carpet spots won't stick? Carpet stickers won't work with the type of carpet I have, but I want to mark the spots where students are supposed to sit. I teach kindergarten.
I would suggest using rug tape. Here's a link to what I use. ((HUGS))

I love it
Love it.
How do you get the students to stop talking in the hallway when they are coming into the school to hang up their coats and bags
Mine are aloud to talk while they unpack theirs bags. This is something you would have to model, model, model your expectation. Then I would have them practice what you modeled. ((Hugs))

Hello! If you see my little sister Gigi tell her I said hi (it’s Oliver)
How are the students able to touch the screen and have the video start
It's a touch screen. It's like a big laptop. ((Hugs))♥️
