A missed Fact about Sriracha is that he is a registered Thoroughbred and he is out of SECRETARIAT's line. He raced in the States and in Peurto Rico.
WOW he came from Secretariat!!
Wow indeed!
I had a beautiful mild mannered descendent out of Man o War. The very best stallion I ever owned
I loved Secretariat soooo much, that I talked my parents into going to Kentucky to meet him. He was amazingly gorgeous!!
Spicy!!! I am old enough to have watched Secretariat race!❤️
I love William kicking his door haha!
Tucker is my favorite because he previous owner had to get rid of him. Tucker looks like another gentle giant.
Hey Joel, it’s Mary!! Thank you guys for loving Casino and taking such great care of him. I miss him every day but I knew it was the right choice for him to stay with you guys!! Hope all is well and sending warm thoughts from the west coast!!
Great to hear from you! We love having him so much. I hope things are well with you! Enjoy the sun ☀️😎
I absolutely adore William, I think he is beautiful and majestic.
You bet I wanna know how you clean, the bridals and the blankets and maintain them
I think that Leia is the offical "gate keeper" and she makes all the horses do as she wants them to do LOL!! She is a special girl ! God bless you all
I absolutely LOVED this video, Joel! You do an incredible job with the channel. I honestly can't wait for each and every episode, and I never would have guessed you are just 25 years old! You present yourself as someone much more mature.
I like seeing all the horses but I think Tucker is quite cute along with the puppy. Knowing Sriracha is from the line of horses from “Secretariat” is amazing too.
thanks for this information! Can you do a video on things to watch out for when dealing with horses, like walking behind a horse, how to give them a treat, or even what treats or no treats? What not to do around horses and what to do around horses.
Yes talk to us about blankets for the horses! Anything you can share about the horses is educational and appreciated! You made a good point about running a stable that people might not think about. Horses need to be fed and cared for every single day. Question, could you hire Gavin full time to help out and give you and your mom a break? My favorites are Laia and Jack, Sampson and Tucker. I love them all really.
I'd like to hear more about their blnkets. Is the material water resistent or repellent?
Thank you for the guided tour! Loved learning about all the animals. In no particular order I prefer : Sampson, Tucker, and Weather in the horse category. Buster and Rocky and of course the lovely Leia.
I would love to know more about that wall with all the pictures on it above the hay maw. I would love to learn about anything about Sunny Knoll Stables that you and your amazing family are willing to share with us.
As always, Thank you for sharing your world with us. See you in the next one.
I would watch you and your stable no matter what you showed. I used to ride horses years ago. Haven't lost my love for horses. So keep up the good work!
I'm definitely interested in blanketing horses and the reasons some are blanketed and other aren't. I always see groups of horses around where I live where some have blankets and some don't and I've always wondered why.
We started watching your video as my daughter and her daughters decided to get horses and a rescue Mini a year and half ago. Her younger daughter has decided to work with vets after working as a stable hand.
When the weather is better I'd love to see Groom time....they all are so beautiful...whatvare there favorite treats?
Can't forget Layla, she's the BOSS LADY!!
More of your cool parents and wife content please.
Hey Joel, how do you know which horse is the head of the herd!
Yup, it’s a lot of work. Rain or shine, snow or sleet, sick or not, you have to go out and take care of the horses. I dread going out especially when the weather is bad but once I’m outside doing horse chores, I enjoy it so much, I have to watch the time otherwise I’ll be late for work. Yes, do a video on why some have horse blankets and others don’t.
I fancy the three big boys, and I saw in the comments that Sriracha is from secretariat blood lines! That is so awesome! Great video Mr Joel, see you in the next one 😀
Sampson is my favorite. Ya ALMOST have the cast of Star Wars in your Stable 😊
Enjoyed hearing about each horse, donkey and Layla. Our favorite is Tucker and Samson.
I’m glad buster & Rocky have found a permanent place just looking cute😂
I love hearing about all the horses at the barn! I didn’t know poncho was a paint
I really like Sampson. I am terrified of horses one bit me on the leg when I was a child. But this actually lead to a positive thing for my daughter. She was about 5 when we went Riding for the Disabled. There were three of us looking after her, one lady leading the horse, and two of us holding her on. The two holders were chatting and I was trying to keep as far away from the horse as possible. My daughter could not walk, she could not hold the reigns. Then the lead ladiy started walking, but the two holders were not concentrating, so we let go. And there goes my daughter one hand on the saddle and the other one in mid air. She looked like a minature John Wayne. We ran after the horse, but the woodchips underneath made it difficult. The horse was more sure footed than us. So off went John Wayne. The lady in charge was amazed. She said that she didn't know my daughter could sit on a horse on her own. I did not know she could sit on a chair without support. It seems that moving was the answer. In order to stay upright your brain sends messages to your body. It seemed that my daughter was not sending messages out but once the horse was moving, her body was sending messages in, and her brain reacted to the input and she stayed on the horse. The lady I was talking too was very interesting too. The pony had belonged to her daughter who now did eventing and so had a much bigger and better horse. But they had kept the little pony as a pet, and lent it to Riding for the Disabled. It was actually a very naughty horse, but it seemed to know about my daughter and never misbehaved with her. Well almost never, just this once. She loved it.
A brother of mine who does not ride horses was willed horse by a neighbor to insure long term care.. It was how I learned a horse can live decades. And I also learned that horses that can no longer function for riding are called pensioners.
I have been watching for a while. Came here from Veggie Boys channel. I know nothing about horses so I cannot tell you what the difference is between a gelding and a stallion. But I do enjoy watching and learning about them. Thanks for doing these videos.
Would
Love a blanketing video for my hubby! He thinks horses should
Just be thrown outside and left.. so we don’t have horses 😅😢😅
I love all the horse's, donkeys & of course Leia. Can't give a specific horse, but I'd say that the Big 3 are first in line, I used to have a percheron mare, Sweet Pea, had her since she was a foal. Bought her from a horse dealer that tried to convince me she was out of a registered paint, but could also be registered as a pinto. And that she was a quarter horse. Lol 🤣 at her age, she could pass, but as she was nearing a yr old, I thought I had actually bought a mule. Because of her head & ears were really big. Lol
But the rest are tied for 2nd. 😊
Oh, I forgot to mention Tucker, Samson and Weather are my favorite. Then next all the rest of them
Joel - A suggestion would be to have a camera to catch the horse eating at the covered hay station. (Gavin did something like it a few videos ago and just showed them standing and eating.) I'd love to hear more about the blankets and when/why sheets are used vs a heavier blanket. Thank you for all of the information and for another great video.
I soo loved this video, now I'll be able to identify each horse. Loved the introduction of each horse, ur pace explaining their characteristics, I so love Tucker, I knew Weather was big wasn't that sure about Samson, they're all amazing animals and you take such excellent care of them, their coats, bellies, pace and posture tell how well they're taking care of. Ur so young and so very knowledgeable, I fell in love with you the moment I saw you with Andrew! So glad you got ur own channel! You and Andrew and everything about your videos and cheerful demeanors make my days happy and joyful! Thanks for sharing ur lives every day and bringing joy to all of us that follow you! May the good Lord bless you guys with everything you need, love you 💕
You gotta love the donkeys, Buster and Rocky. You guys should have a little corral set up out front so people could bring the kids and see them. I think it would be good for business. The kids pet the donkeys and Mom and Dad buy stuff from the store. Hmmmm?
Yes, interested in blanketing horses.I am a fairly new subscriber and enjoyed hearing about each one. I think my favorite is Tucker partly, because of the way he came back to you. Didn't know the story of the donkeys. Thank you foe today's video.
Layla is my favorite animal. Gotta love dogs. All the horses are beautiful so so hard to pick. Loved meeting the horses and getting their backgrounds. Thanks for the video.
Wether is my pick. I love his " I ain't in no hurry and nobody is going to rush me" attitude. That being said, Sampson is gorgeous.
Our favorites - ALL OF THEM!!! ~grinning
I love any video you do and it was nice to learn the horses' ages . Thank you .
THE BEST video yet about all the horses information BRILLIANT 👏👏👏 Any information you are willing to share about A STABLE LIFE would be greatly appreciated as it's fascinating all that is involved 👍👍👍👍 Favourite animal ALL of them as each has their own personality!!!!!! Love from the UK x
It’s very safe to say your Stable provides a safe and healthy environment both inside and outside. You should be Proud since you always show a strong effort. 👍🙏
Good show
The people who put the horses in your care are lucky that you care for them the way you do and I couldn't pick a favorite I love them all, thanks for the video.
Wow what an awesome video. Loved hearing about all the horses. So interesting. I love all the horses but there is something so majestic about Sampson. Your videos are great Joel
As much as I like to watch you and Gavin take care of the horses watching you feed them and clean up manure gets to be monotonous. Loved this video ( and any of the others that deviate from the day to day normal horse care. LOVED this video.
I enjoyed hearing about the horses. I like the one who knocks on his stall door to get out. I would love to hear about the blankets. i live in Southwestern Virginia, & do not notice farmers use blankets, but, I do see the covers they put over their heads.
Extra special video Joel. I really like how you know the horses history. Your clients are lucky. When you said you are 25. I thought about when I was that age. 33 yrs ago. Lol Enjoy your youth. Goes fast. Take care of yourself so you have a long life :) God bless !
Joel, we need to know more about cold, warm and hot blooded horses. I never heard of that.
My favorite video so far! Thank you for teaching us all about them. I love Weather. Something about him is just so amazing and he’s just so handsome!
Ii was going to ask why you only have male horses . You read my mind. I love your videos. Keep up the great work. You bring a little sunshine in my life with all the crazieness going on in the world.
What a great synopsis of the stable residents. Appreciate the care and kindness you provide your residents. You provide a full service for the owners pets. Love those donkeys. So cute 😍. Does Leia need a younger buddy to help with her duties? She msy want to retire in a few years. She is great with her
Equine friends. Thanks for today's wonderful video. My day is complete with a dose of A Stable Life
Its fascinating to me that animals of such mass and power can be so gentle.
I love any info on the horses and donkeys..You take such good care of the animals. We used to have horses, but getting older and downsizing we no longer have any animals except our dog. Miss them, love horses so much. Much love from AZ
Humans are my favorite lol. As for horses I love them all equally (no favorites). I love Scoots too and the donkeys in that order lol
Great job showing us all of the horses and of course the donkey kids and Leia (?) It looks like a very happy stable.
Loved meeting each animal!
Thanks for telling about your horses. The donkeys are always fun to see them. I appreciate you and Gavin . Take care out
Leah is awesome, sorry if I misspelled her name.
Enjoyed this video so much.
You and your help team are the reason your stable runs so smooth.
We watch you and the Veggie Boys. You are really improving your video skills and getting comfortable.
We enjoy your informative videos the most. Keep us informed. We believe that you should learn something new every day.
We are in our 70s and you have been entertaining us.
The horses are beautiful anf the donkeys are adorable, but only your puppy is looking out for you. Leia is my fav.
Tucker is my favorite.
nice horses🐎🐴
I loved meeting all the horses and learning about their breed and type as other than size, they all look the same to me.
Buster............and Rocky! Yeah Rocky and Buster are my favorite with Leia coming in a close third!
Tucker is my favorite, but I enjoy watching all of them. It makes it so much more interesting in that you call them by name and let us know about their personalities. I really enjoy the channel so keep your videos coming!!
Nice knowing you are neighbors of vegy boys
I used to own two horses. One was a 16.2 hh flea bitten 7/8th thorough cross Irish. I did 3 day eventing with him. He was very forward going and crazy. Then I needed something quieter as Freeway frazzled my nerves lol. I got a 16hh Friesian stallion he was called Bilboa . He was a quiet fella and you would never know he was a stallion.
TUCKER, WEATHER AND SAMSON!!! Wish there was more videos of the owners riding the big three. Love the gentle giants.
I love horses but the Donkeys are so 🥰 ❤❤❤❤❤😊
All of them our my favorite can’t pick just one any more
Love how you take you time to care for your horses and boarder horses for clients it’s awesome. And all your family and friends come to help out . Your one hell of a family that’s been bless for all the hard work you put in to keeping the horses happy and free in the pastures not coop up. Would like to know more about the blankets on horses and why some don’t have any and horse shoeing and DSLD please. And why not feed the horses a mineral salt block in each trough with hay?
I like Buster and Rocky! Their little cuties.
Love meeting the horses, donkeys, and of course Laya
Lotta questions: what is the average age a horse lives. If you board a horse...what would you expect to pay for this service...do you provide everything in the price...do you pay weekly...monthly...do you have to call ahead to come visit. I love the mini donkeys...do you board those also. And i have been watching religiously...lol... love all this thank you
Joel… any information you share is appreciated
Samson is my favorite because many years ago I helped work with Belgian horses…Used the horses to bring in the hay bales and put them up in the barn… also helped prep the horses for show at the county fair
Loved the tour. Great info.
Tucker is my favorite 💜
I’ve been watching for a while and this video was great to see. Glad you showed the two misfits (Buster and Rocky).
Saddle up boys we want to see more.
There's no way I could choose a favorite. They are all special in their own way. Great narrative/bio! Thanks.
Joel I always love your stable life videos🐎🐕❤️
Fantastic video, Joel. It was fun seeing the horses watch you while you talked to us😊
Thanks for that! That was fun and as a little newer subscriber, I really appreciate now knowing the stories behind them all
William is certainly opinionated. You may have to replace that door sometime if he keeps kicking it. I think Leia is my favorite.
Casino and Tucker are my favorite overall. Casino just because he is such a cool lookin dude. Tucker bc he seems like a big old sweetheart and he has a good story.
As a viewer who has only been subscribed a few months, this video was very informative. Thank you for taking time out of your busy farm chore day to film this. My fav is Tucker- I have a percheron mare, so I'm partial to the perch.
Great information Joel you're the best 🤠🤠 William was soo funny 🤣😅😅🤣
Archer, love rascals, and especially Rocky and Buster. Need more donkey time.
Argento is my favorite fursure
Thanks for all the information on the horses
Sorry to see the collar on George. Was the owner ever able to find the issue? We had one years ago unfortunately with GUS and it was a journey 💔 Truly enjoyed getting introduced to all your boys and how much care you have for them.
Thanks Joel for each horses info. Yes on a video on each horses blanketing. Favorite is Sampson the giant beauty with perfect coloring. I also like the 2 smallest animals Buster & Laya. 🐾
Great show! I never miss an episode. Its ok to give me a shout out if you want.
Great content .So smart having only geldings their the same everyday. Have a real fondness for the gentle giants but love all the personalities. Thanks for letting us experience each one. Hope your clients appreciate how well you all care for them. Lea is a real sweetie!
Today was very informative about all of the Horses and thank you for taking the time to tell us all about the different breeds and who belongs to whom and with that everyone have a very good evening
Sampson 🥰 beauty love love love . But I’m a dog lover and Lay is an amazing dog . love how you say take a seat …and she sits 🥰. Brilliant video, If I ever had the chance of being a horse owner this would be my dream home for them .
Take care everyone x
Loved the tour and all of the horses. When are you going to see the sun....seems its always cloudy there....just kidding. I lived one state over and the winter is always overcast most days. Spring is on its way!!!!
Not sure I am spelling correctly but Laya is just a real sweetie 💕
If I had horses your stable is where I would want them you and everyone involved do an excellent job taking care of them.
My preference will always be draft horses because I just love how big and gentle they are but I'll be honest I've never met a horse that is crazy because of breeding. I have a few friends with saddlebreds who love kids and they are notorious for being crazy.
Declan’s gotta be my favorite😁
