I am not sure how many people watching this can speak English, but this show was actually adapted from a format that originated on television in Canada. "The Mad Dash" was produced in Montreal and originally aired in the late 1970s and early 1980s, and the budget for it was a lower one then you would see on American shows. Despite that, it was still popular for the time. I believe a few episodes of that show are still on UA-cam.
Actually it's not the only show that Poland got from other countries. We have Va Banque that is basically a Jeopardy!. Who wants to be a millionaire has also gotten polish version - Milionerzy (literally: Millionaires). Though Millionaire one has basically versions worldwide so it's not that surprising.
It's pretty much the same for the format this was based on. It was originally produced in Montreal as "The Mad Dash" from 1978 to 1981 for Canadian network CTV. I have only been able to find a few episodes of that myself, but the ones I have found on UA-cam are good.
Dziękuję za wrzucenie! Kompletnie mnie to rozkleiło, oglądałam z bananem na twarzy, cudowny program :)

@Netsuki There aren't too many shows adapted internationally that originated in Canada though. A lot of them started in the United States.
