i mean he’s not a bad guy for real, he has the heart and stage presence. instead of wasting millions on gear.. he could’ve auditioned people to play with and record music. he could’ve gotten really far with only a fraction of the stuff he has right now.
This comment nails it.
Yeah. Like dude, ten drum sets? 100 guitars? You only need one of each of those. Instruments aren’t cheap either
That would mean being responsible and reliable
some people are just obsessed with fame
@@AC-mp7cx yea , I've been writing songs for 40 years now, and just record and do it for the adventure of creating music
You don't need to spend money looking like a rockstar. All you need is a guitar and a song that can break you into 1. This guy did it backwards.
It goes to show money can't buy anything.
That's a good pearl of wisdom!
Exactly! He literally needs one guitar, and the talent which he’s already got. He could get together some band members and then get themselves out there
The record ndustry isn't signing 80s type bands rock music just ain't the same, I don't even bother with what's happening today, well ya got Gretta van fleet , all the music I need has already been recorded ...... End of story 🎼🏜️
@@patrickhanson4083 its over for rock bands
it can if you make a good effort and have talent
I’ve never seen someone who probably relates more with “Rockstar” by nickelback
lmao same
Record breaking albums have been written on a fraction of the cost of that studio. If he can't do it like this, he never will.
Can you imagine what he could have done if he'd just paid some good session musicians and recorded an album? Still not a definite thing, but more of a plan than he's got
I knew a guy that bought a whole brand new studio in LA, it went under-it's not the studio it's the musician's and producer.
Great comment 🙂
exactly like Motown
There is too much hate…this guy sucks. I wish him the best. What a waste of money…I am in the same position as him…what a loser. 😅
HE REMINDS ME SOOOOOO MUCH OF PRINCE CHARMING FROM SHREK - I can’t 💀💀😂
SAME PLSSSJAHAHHAHSS
Bruuuuuh
I thought he was going to be terrible ........
hes not
Welcome to life
maybe his attitude is
He could have been famous if it was 1987.
@Gamer Dude I can't argue with that.
bro literally that was the most competitive year for music probably
@@AC-mp7cx not 1987 , more like 1980 he could have been signed to label, but in 2022 , his music is dated, and rock music died about ten years ago, looks like he's having fun though!
@@patrickhanson4083 rock started to die in the 90s but yeah
Unquestionably
He even sounds like a decent musician. There is no career more difficult to make a living in than a musician, rock or classical.
His attitude probably turned most of the people off in the business he's dealt with.
Sounds like a poser to me?
I know musicians that have carved out careers doing many things. Licensing music, playing shows and teaching. Diversifying their income streams. Fame as a musician is what you are talking about and that is difficult
"You have to have the rockstar lifestyle. I mean, you have to have that, otherwise, what's the point?"
How dare you. Rock is not about money or cars or women or hanging out. Rock is a sacred art.
For real!!! I mean think about it, most famous rock musicians are very humble about their fame and glad people even liked their music haha
Triggered
yeah nah its not
I was fighting the urge to vomit at that as well, but as sad as it is, the desire for fame and women, etc, has absolutely driven some people to actual success.
80s dorks
"whats the point?" he asks...
the point of being a musician is to create art and express yourself. Too many people who have all these superficial motives and saturate the arts.
This guy is so out of touch and full of himself it's not even funny. Actually quite cringe-inducing.
You got that right, he's not actually a half bad musician has a good voice but that attitude is just flat-out cringe, he's probably turned off majorly anybody he's ever dealt with in the music business, that's why he's gotten nowhere. I've been playing in bands for 30 years and have gotten further than he has on about 1/100 of the money he has spent, and I have only six guitars 😆.. You don't need fancy cars to make it in the music business, you need to be talented and have a good attitude and be a good at marketing yourself especially in the internet age.
Exactly. I have friends that are in bands that have done either local or nationwide tours, and don't have even half of what he has. It doesn't take material goods, numerous instruments, etc etc (which btw, completley funded by his ma and pop, and his girlfriend 🤦🏻♀️)- just talent, passion, and dedication.
He's clearly addicted to god awful clothing as well.
His boots are nice tho ngl
He acts like he’s still 15.
Its hard to stop dreaming am I right?
500k then he got more money from his g/f ...........wtf
Has he ever heard of trading
What people need to realize is that there are a LOT of really talented people that never really make it big. This happens in every field from music to science and engineering. Being really good at what you do and being successful can sometimes be just do to timing, luck or 1-2 major events. So many people start companies that fail for not getting a life-saving loan or some other detail. If Elon's Space X had failed the 4th falcon launch and not get the $1.6B Nasa contract both Space X and Tesla would have never made it anywhere.
He’s actually seems like a really sweet/smart guy, he just has this dream he wants to pursue and it’s taking over
He needs to seriously update his sound and look, he is stuck in the 80’s. Music and styles are in constant change in our world
Unfortunately he became obsessed with the superficial excesses of the music business instead of the central experience.
A steady job builds a solid company dude, ambition gets you only so far
Like Phil said, if you can't make something happen with 1.7 million dollars then it's never going to happen, I've been playing for about 30 years myself and have gotten further in the music business than he has on about 1/100 of what he spent, I have six guitars that's it.
He's got talent, but like every rock star, he needs to pay his dues...he needs to get heard by playing everywhere and anywhere, which he's obviously not doing. Instead of buying guitars and such, record a decent CD. Being a successful artist doesn't always mean fame and fortune...success is being able to make a living doing what you love...but that takes talent and a shitload of work.
This guy did it for the wrong reasons….He did it for the benefits, the lifestyle, and the money.
A MUSICIAN wants to make the best music they can, and will play anytime and anywhere whether is 5 people or 50000
Parachute store. Wonder how many times he tells people that! 😂😂😂
This guy will stay unhappy for the rest of his life
I really like 43 year-old Kris he seems like a nice guy; obviously 15 year-old Kris I hate but there’s a good guy in there somewhere underneath all of “the persona”.
As a successful music producer, you have to pick your drummers, guitarists, backing singers, keyboardist, vocalists really well. Why should this " wanting to be somebody" get to steal off his parents, girlfriend, brothers, other kind people etc, IF THAT WERE ME, I'D PROBABLY GET MY FINGERS BROKEN!!!
This guy has a functioning studio. He can charge artists for studio time. Why isn't he doing that?
If this guy had a brain he would rent out that insane studio by the hour...
I bought $50,000 worth of the very best golf clubs, golf balls, golf tees, golf pants, golf shirts, golf hats, golf shoes... and I own hundreds of each. But yet for some reason, I'm not a PGA Tour pro.
I don't understand how that hasn't happened for me... 🙄
😂😂😂
You will do it.Stop trying to be like someone else.....you are the BEST asset youll have in life......start listening to your heart....do your own thing
That's the problem his parents enabled him way beyond what parents should do. Sell the cars, kick him out,and let him deal with his dream. He sounds pretty good, but he hadn't made it yet, time to grow up and out of his parents house
That whole 80s gimmick doesnt work anymore that backwards. No bodies buyingnit since the grunge era. There are other ways in besides being the musician.
"Addicted to rock but now at rock bottom" ABSOLUTELY KILLED ME LOLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL
Reminds me of Sebastian Bach and other
80s hard Rock like Whitesnake he’s t
Talented
He sold me a couple bags of sod at Menards recently
The Walmart version Ned scneeebly (Dewey Finn)
I think it's gotta be about your craft. It has to be worth it on its own. The public is fickle so popularity is fleeting. Even if one gets popular, it may not last long. The priority should be to be self-sufficient. You can always play at gas stations and bars on your days or nights off work.
His music is too dated to appeal. This is a guy who refused to adapt to a changing culture. You have to stand out, you can't sound 1) like everyone else, 2) like everyone else from 30-40 years ago.
4:14 this is absolutely a lie.
Dr. Phil makes me realize money is not everything. There’s so many spoiled kids who end up on this show
He lacks discipline.
Any other 20 year old musicians here fearful this will be what they become?
Yes 😢😢😢😢 nah tho actually cause I don’t have that money he has 😂
Dude this guy is arena ready!!
I would be OK if my parents built me a million dollar studio and played rock star all day
Legend In His Own Mind...
The money and additional things such as cars, houses, clothing, women, and instruments come from your success not the other way around looking good first to start with.
Just like others. They all come and go. One day they are up, next day, washing cars
Dude took the WASP song a little too seriously.
this man is making music that would have slapped in the 80s
There is too much hate…this guy sucks. I wish him the best. What a waste of money…I am in the same position as him…what a loser. 😅
Sounds like he spent more time pursuing women than his goal.
This year I will be 40. But I'm still wanna be a rocker. My plan is move to USA, started to school music, and get a music career
Wowowoowowow sick axe collection bro!!!!
can anybody say delusional ? if you are 43 and still havent gotten anywhere , your not going anywhere...I had this dream too but gave it probably 30 years ago ..I understand but hes 43 years old
I hope he grew up.
Wasn’t he already famous?! I’ve seen his music videos
AJ Is On The Highway what’s his channel
@@slickmoneygaming7800 just search Hadlock
This guy could be a trailer park boys character
He’s more worried about his image than the music
Tbh Id rather be in an underground band than being a mainstream artist
"I wanna be somebody" perhaps a wasp reference? he's really into rock man
Dude it’s not easy becoming a rockstar
This man doesn’t want to be a rockstar I promise. Has nothing to do with music for him, nor the money. All this man wants is to be worshipped.
You have to have a marketing plan and strategy in place ffs
4 years and no comments? Woah
I know right!
Comments were disabled until recently.
“400 or 500” lmao 🧢
He looks just like Kevin from Resident Evil Outbreak. XD
Dude, you have all that gear so there's no reason to not be able to afford a place to stay.
He's like a character from South Park
Bruh wants it for all the wrong reasons. Dude is coo coo for coco puffs.
Why does he look like Billy Ray Cyrus?
he is to full of himself sorry
“Fast cars, you want the rockstar lifestyle! otherwise what’s the point?” the point is to have people connect with your music, and that my friend.... is why you failed
so what exactly was the point of this show?
He looks like a country singer
It starts mainly with a good song not entirely the image image is good on your budget.
Where is all the comments 😂
Sgt Pepper's cost 70000
Look I’m an all or nothing person myself but there has to be a balance. Do what you love but get a job for the sake of having an income and paying for those things yourself.
I want to start my own business but I need money to start.
And as an artist myself, I love to paint and draw, I love fashion and have always wanted to design costumes and do makeup but I care more about doing what I love regardless of how much attention I gain from it. It would be nice making money from it but I’m still enjoying my passion.
This dude really ruin definition of “ Rockstar ”
His music is just waaaay too generic
30 years of pursuit his dream wouuuuu
30 years that’s a long time
This dude looks like the KINGSLAYER, should of went into acting buddy! But good luck with whatever u do!
Dude is way too generic. 80s retro rock, sleaze rock, etc is huge right now and has been coming back for atleast the last 10 years. Bands like crashdiet, crazy Lixx, and reckless love beat this guy into the ground.
If he had read gene simmons book you have to be good at business
What is the name of this rock star ?
Hadlock.
@@marktheroux9465 Thank You !!!
He better ask for a job at the gas station he be playing at
He is a narcissist, surprised Dr. Phil is trying to help him
Half a million dollars😳😳😳😳
He looks like Jaime Lannister.
He is a nice guy, but 1) smth is still off with him 2) those are wrong Gods to believe in 3) need to change his wardrobe completely
This guy is Bowling For Soups' 1985
obviously he looks ok and has musical talent...but like others have said....a real artist has to put the work in and go to auditions and attempt to join a band? It's not just about Fame?
I wish he was successful and have children and be married and he doesn’t have to be addicted and he can still like it
Kris?, seriously, what’s his last name?
Kris try out for the voice or America's Got Talent.
His attitude sucks big TIME
Yikes 😬
That's kinda sad
…nothing about music.
I wanna be famous too
BUT IT LOOKS COOL
If you can’t see that he’s a rockstar you’re blind, he chased his dream so hard that it’s in front of his face, rock star doesn’t only mean fame you can still live the life without anything that life is that life
Sounds like he has all the clothes to gig in and gear needed to make a killer album and finance his band on a good start. Only thing missing is outstanding talent.
Fake
