    nice, but the 49% firewall lucky hit is already including your 62% lucky hit bonus. firewall has a base lucky hit of 30%

    It appears under the hood theres a maximum number of firebolt applications or some sort of diminishing returns. My best experience was meteor with meteorites aspect ( which assumes the same lucky hit chance) with firebolt and meteor enchant and got 20+ procs in 60 seconds consistantly.

    One thing I did notice here which is very helpful, I never thought about doing this. Was to see how BAD the lHC is. It is not functioning properly. So per tick, the firewall damage should be pricing the xfal 25% of the time. (49% lhc * 50% chance on lucky hit = ~24.5% of the time)... So at LEAST, every 5 ticks, you should see 1 proc, and that is not happening, not even close.

    • @GoldfarmingGuide
      @GoldfarmingGuide  Місяць тому +1

      you're not correct. The lucky hit chance is calculated over the entire duration.
      So if you skill has 50% lucky hit over 6 seconds duration, the chance is 50% to get one lucky hit over the full duration not per tick.

    • @HawkTuahD4
      @HawkTuahD4 Місяць тому

      @@GoldfarmingGuide Nope, I tested it and it doesn't work either of the ways we are mentioning lol. (I tested last night after commenting so this is new info).We are both wrong. The entire duration of a firewall there are 18 ticks of damage. Each has it's own LHC based on the total LHC for the skill. This is how I tested it. I did one FW at a time on the dummy and once in a while, the xfal procs twice with the same firewall... The ONLY way that is possible is if each tick has its own lhc. at 50% lhc for the skill each tick has about a 2.75% LHC... Garbage. I tested in by doing 5 fw one after the other., not stacked. For every 5 fw's casted, I got 1 to 2 xfal procs at about 2.75% per tick. Test it out and let me know. I can post a vid as well.

    • @GoldfarmingGuide
      @GoldfarmingGuide  Місяць тому +1

      @@HawkTuahD4 thats exactly what im saying :D the lucky hit chance is distributed over the entire duration. Of course it can proc multiple times of one spell. Thats also exactly how i say it in the video.
      50% lucky hit / 10 seconds is basically 5% lucky hit per second or 2.5% lucky hit per tick.
      Stacking multiple ones will add up so if you stack 10 firewalls you basically have 25% per tick even though the ticks get combined to one big tick, they still inherit the original spells LH.
      There is one exception to this which seems to be firebolt enchant. It definetly has some kind of a cap, or diminishing returns.
      if you apply one firebolt enchant it procs way less than if you spam a skill.

    • @HawkTuahD4
      @HawkTuahD4 Місяць тому

      @@GoldfarmingGuide I found that it's per tick not seconds. Over the 8 seconds of FW, there are 18 damage splashes. 50%/ 18 damage ticks = 2.77% LHC per damage tick. The reason I say this is garbage is because in PvP and in most of PvE, nothing is just going to stand in your firewall for 18 ticks... MAYBE a few ticks + 3 seconds after they leave the firewall which is another 6.7 ticks over 3 seconds. So 2.77% LHC per tick is atrocious.... :( Base LHC for fw needs a HUGE boost.

    • @HawkTuahD4
      @HawkTuahD4 Місяць тому

      @@GoldfarmingGuide Close, it goes per tick. Firewall hits 2.25 times per second over 8 seconds that's 18 damage ticks. Each hit is 2.77% LHC if the FW LHC is 50%. Got it, now here's the thing, I say this is garbage because no one in PVP or PVE sits in your firewall for the entire duration lol... So at best you will get 1 to 3 ticks + the extra 3 seconds which is another 6.75 ticks. So figure about 9 ticks of damage per firewall at 2.77% LHC per tick... Thats atrocious. FW needs a serious LHC boost.

    Also to add to this video the damage of the dot is what x'fals damage type will be which means is if you have a specific element that has a high damage multiplier for that type of damage this will increase the damage of x'fals including crit chance, crit damage , damage to vulnerableig enemies are vulnerable when it procs, overpower damage yes x'fals can overpower if you have overpower chance etc etc . I have a physical damage Barb with bleed and my multipliers for those damage types are high do when x'fals procs it's doing 1m-15m crit damage and overpower damage. I am pushing these multipliers to make X'fals one shot end bosses. It's hilarious the x'fals procs currently are procing twice and it's enough to kill the end bosses duriel still takes about 5-8 procs to kill him so I need to find more sources to make my physical damage multiplier higher. Your welcome fellow players.

  • @HawkTuahD4
    @HawkTuahD4 Місяць тому

    So right out of the gate, this is wrong. The LHC you are seeing in the skill tree is already factoring in all the ACTIVE LHC bonus. 30% (base lhc for fw) + 62% = 48.6% LHC (Which is the 49% you are seeing on the skill). Your calculation is way off. Then these numbers change slightly if you use conditional lhc boosts such as "25% when barrier active" etc. UPDATE: I noticed other players already pointed this out.

    • @GoldfarmingGuide
      @GoldfarmingGuide  9 місяців тому +1

      Hey, Tanks! You can 100% Disregard Aspect of the Elements. It is only a 30% Additive Damage which literally makes this the worst aspect in the Entire game pretty much. Jus to be clear, this basically means the same then "+30% Non-Physical Damage" which gives you about 1% damage increase in total.
      Other asspects have 30%[x] (Multiplicative) which are literally about 30 times stronger then the Aspect of the Elements

    • @tasandmnm69
      @tasandmnm69 9 місяців тому

      @@GoldfarmingGuideThey changed aspect of elements to be multiplicative in last patch, I checked one I had in stash and they even changed wording on it, mine says 29x. So now it seems pretty strong to me since it requires no other conditions to be met (CC, barrier, etc) even though 7 seconds on/off isn't ideal I would still use it over something like Control since the damage bonus on Elements works on bosses and all other content unlike Control.

    • @GoldfarmingGuide
      @GoldfarmingGuide  9 місяців тому

      @@tasandmnm69 Oh I did not get that. Well that kind of makes it usable, but still I think its not great. 30% half of the time basically equals to 15%. I think using storm swell and conceited is still much better and in this build I don't have another slot I guess.

    • @tasandmnm69
      @tasandmnm69 9 місяців тому

      @@GoldfarmingGuide I agree that Storm Swell is better overall since we almost always will have barrier/vuln up but Control is only better when mobbing IMO since we can't CC bosses so even average Elements to 15% it is better overall. But to me using Elementalist (+40% crit chance) and Edgemasters is better since we can get a large percentage of our casts over 100 mana (casting over 50 mana also gives us bonus damage from a talent). I tend to like skills/aspects that are going to be up as close to 100% of the time as possible and not be wasted when I do certain content which I feel Control is wasted on bosses even though it is a little better to speed through an NMD where you can CC everything since it is a higher damage %.

    • @GoldfarmingGuide
      @GoldfarmingGuide  9 місяців тому

      @@tasandmnm69 I would agree, I am not using control anymore unless im Running frostburns, because those will stagger so fast, that control is worth it. Other than that, I pretty much always just use Storm Swell and Conceited and no other damage aspects.
      Elementalists is nice if the build can fuel it, but atleast in my opinion after watching my builds closely, I am probably above 100% ~ 70% of the time.
      But Its personal preference. I just feel like im good with my 2 core "100% Uptime" damage aspects.
      Maybe with upcoming patches there will be the need to add more dps, but currently I dont see the need to over dps stuff.
