As is often the case, bands that can play the music so often fall down when it come to the vocals. That is certainly not what happened here. They caught the subtle complexity of the song perfectly, and then the vocals were spot-on. This is really a song about feelings; self-reflection, pensiveness, and melancholy. This band captured that mood.

LOL! I have all the same questions. My guess is that dad brings ideas but all of them discuss how it should be done. They all seem personally attached to the finished product beyond performing their part...I get a sense that they are each invested in these productions and they usually add their personal touch.
