- I've always wanted to check out the Hermitcraft world on my own, so I decided to download Hermitcraft 8 and check it out! I believe the last season I watched was season 4. Anyway, I hope you enjoy the video!

Everyone: no, he built the whole mountain himself.
The place you were at in the beginning (Grian's area) is inspired by Harry Potter. Grian mostly made an exact copy of the area but added a few of his personal touches, also Dallas please don't compare yourself, you are amazing and unique in your own way. You literally play in your world where you built EVERYTHING by yourself and that is impressive enough for me.

9:45 nope. Nothing was cleared out. The entire mountain on top was built by bdubs.. ON THE FIRST GODDAMN WEEK OF SEASON 8!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The brown cow is a mushroom cow that was struck with lighting, you can feed it a flower and with a bowl would give you suspicious stew, the flower you feed it with affects the effects of the suspicious stew.
Yeh mooshrooms in general are rare
A natural brown mooshroom is actually Insane
So you need channeling to get them really
@@dashadowgirl yeah, channeling is the most reliable way of getting it, but if you don't have it and want one, make a lighting rod, get a mushroom cow in a hole and place the rod next to it, and wait for a thunderstorm.

I'm gonna try my best to give some insights on who built which base.
0:30 - Grian's Harry Potter themed "Midnight Alley"
1:20 - the side alleyway was actually built by GoodTimesWithScar as a base collaboration
2:21 - the big pointy mountains were also built by Scar
2:51 - Yes, MumboJumbo stepped up his building skills quite a bit this and the last season! He even built those custom trees. That mountain also has an inside with his storage.
3:00 - The giant factory was built by ImpulseSV. He had a whole Willy Wonka chocolate factory theme and story going on.
3:56 - The chocolate river room inside the factory was partly decorated by GeminiTay, who built the candy trees
4:09 - That's the Octagon, the shop of Rendog and Docm77. All the insect themed deepslate/copper builds are by them. There was a lot of technical redstone involved, like an octagonal nether portal with copper blocks as borders (Doc is a wizard)
4:20 - The castle with interior and the mountains were built by PearlescentMoon, one of the newest members
5:00 - The giant floating structure was also Welsknight's
5:57 - The village with the Etho head wasn't actually done by Etho (it was to get him to buy in their shops). The area was done by BdoubleO, Keralis and TangoTek
6:32 - Done by VintageBeef
6:55 - that weird house was built by Iskall85 as part of an event, therefore the riddles (they were hiding the Dragon Egg). He and Etho lived together on that shattered savannah biome
8:08 - That castle was built by Joehills and ZombieCleo. They modeled it after a real-life castle in Germany. As others have said, they use a datapack where you can position armorstands and make them invisible.
8:28 - Horse Head Farms! This was done by hypnotizd and xBCrafted. They sold people stuff in exchange for IOUs, that they later auctioned off for many diamonds
8:40 - the glass domes with the submarine were also built by xBCrafted. The sea monster was also one of the invisible armor stand situations!
9:10 - Zedaph's laboratory. He built some quirky redstone contraptions there, like the "combrewter", where you input what potion you want and it flings the ingredients across the room into a brewing stand in the right order
9:32 - Bdubs actually built the whole mountain, not carved it out. I guess when 1.18 gets delayed, you're gonna have to do the mountains yourself! The cyclops' name is Fifi and it was built by TangoTek, who also did the inside of the mountain.
10:06 - The wagons (or rather Swaggons) are from Scar. He imagined a story where he was a tycoon with all these different wagons.
10:47 - Ah yes, the Boatem Hole. Many shenanigans (and death) occured here. They just thought it would be funny to have a void hole in the middle of their district and hold meetings there. Above the hole is the Boatem Pole (name and pun by Mumbo), which got constructed in episode 1 and marked the beginning of the Boatem crew.
11:21 - also built by Doc and Ren
11:35 - you can actually swin insanely fast in that pipe with Dolphin's grace, beacons and Soul speed boots. The giant shulker was built by Doc and is a shulker farm. They figured out a way to farm shulker shells (and that construction involved transporting a live shulker from the end to the farm in a minecart).
I realize now that I might have a little hermitcraft addiction lmao. oh well.
Funny part of the video when he thinks big eyes town is made by Etho (gotta say it's quite confusing tbh)
The shulker farm was maybe designed by Doc, but the entire concept of shulker farms is not. There have been shulker farms since only a few days after 1.17 dropped.
6:00 this is the bigeyes shopping district (Bdubs, keralis and tango), the etho sign was just to get him to shop there (instead of boatem)
That shattered savanah biome is totally natural to pre-1.18 vanilla terrain generation. They’re a bit rare but you can find one fairly easily if you look around a savanna biome long enough.
I’m pretty sure it’s still a thing in 1.18 terrain as well. I think it’s called windswept savanna now though!

The cave with a cyclops in it is actually a fake mountain. Bdoubleo built the mountain. Tango,Keralis and Bdoubleo storage system is in their. That town was also built by Tango, Keralis and Bdoubleo.

Your in the boatem hole! They all sat on boats at the begging of the season and made the town on boatem around that area. It’s kind of like lore on hermitcraft
Dallas is my go to guy for everything Minecraft, the bigger youtubers feel too commercial and artificial, none of them have the amount of genuine excitement that you carry with your self, like I said last time, never compare your self. You’re great.
11:12 that entire area is called Boatem. the thing above the void hole is the Boatem Pole and the hole is the Boatem Hole where shenanigans happen (like pushing others in it)

Dallas that concept of the same building style that you are talking about already exists. There’s a quite big UA-camr server with builders called Empires SmP. Their season just ended and their world download is out. Maybe do another videos visiting that server?

I’m now seeing this from two different views
The first from watching from the beginning of the season to the end
Seeing these being built up from nothing. Knowing what each build is and who built it. like a top down view.
And the second view from this video. from a bottom looking up view.
While watching hermitcraft you almost dull your Sense to the scale of these builds.
Then you watch videos from non hermits and that’s when you realize not only the scale but how crazy everything is when you look at it from a different angle.
its actually crazy that i know exactly who built each base...whats insane is seeing my fav mc youtuber (you) look at the base of my second fav youtuber (grian) and ive watched every single ep. of hermitcraft for grain...and 300 videos from your channel
U should really check season 7, that season was like 3x longer than this one, btw these are the finished products because they needed to hurry up because of 1.18

12:36 ok 2 things... This is a shattered Savanah. It's naturally generating in vanilla minecraft and 2: the season ended in December.
You should do these type of videos on Java.. I know, it might blow your computer up.. But all of those armor stands are actually there with the help of datapacks and stuff that they use, then all the random steve heads are actually player heads to like mini blocks, apples, small cakes etc.. And a lot of them are usually invisible and just show the item they hold which greatly increases the effect they're going for.. But sadly on bedrock the whole effect is ruined.. And all the redstone stuff doesn't work either, like mumbo's mega waterfall door, Etho's mini Wilson etc..
But i'm really enjoying the fresh reactions as someone who has watched their series and already seen all of this stuff.

Bdubs didn't clear out that cave. He MADE that mountain.
Those random armor stands you see everywhere can only be viewed as intended on Java
It's very common to use invisible armor stands in HC in order to get precise details using what their holding. Since you're in Bedrock, all of the armor stands turn visible.
You mentioned a few times about the hermits currently working on this world-- to be clear, they're no longer working on this world. Cool video! liked seeing your reactions to stuff

Hermitcraft could use someone like you as you could change up how people see it as the idea of having no mega base and just expierancing minecraft and doing smaller projects would make it easier for people to realate to and is just as enjoyable to watch. The village with the Etho head belongs to the big eye crew (Bdubs, Keralis and Tango). They just made a shot specifically for Etho xD
In the hermit craft "Lore" the moon, crashed and destroyed everything as the end of season 8. But after that they all have been doing their own thing. For example, Grain started a Hardcore world with scar and others.
they already did the “one style” thing in season 6 except there were districts for each style

The Lab or Factory was ImpulseSV, the Alley was Diagon Alley from Harry Potter. And I grow inspired by the Hermits. When I do my worlds they make me want to try to be more creative.

The armour stands might be ZombieCleos' statues that didn't load in correctly.

The armor stands you saw are ZombieCleo's. She uses it to have the blocks smaller in size and to have them in a certain position, by making the armor stand invisible.
I also agree and think that you should make videos with you recording and reviewing the hermitcraft worlds of season 6 and 7. Btw love your vids and keep up the hard work!
Kinda wild seeing others' perspectives on a world you've gotten used to seeing in another way. It puts into perspective just how crazy these guys are
Hermitcraft has a mod with armor stands where you can make the invisible and edit the positioning. The armor stand that were all pulled up holding all the sandstone were the detailing for the window but without the mod they fell down and defaulted to the default position.
omg it's the boatem hole! so many people fell down it. it was the central point of that district and meetings were always a creative event around it!
also, as another comment said the armor stand were invisible in the build, which was detailed with mini blocks, while the ones near the skeleton head were like a sculpture/scene/statues!

Ok so:
1. The armor stands are broken. On java edition they are invisible and in the correct place holding the blocks above the windows on that one build.
2. This season is no longer active. They ended it with a blast(literally) and you should defo watch the last episode of Season 8 from Scar, Grian, Pearl, And a few of the other hermits ma brain decided to forget just now. If there is a world download of the season then the season is over. I want that to change tho!
3. I noticed a lot of the "i dont exist" blocks around the world in your video. oofers

If you fly down into mumbo’s lake with elytra you will trigger string to split the waterfall into mumbos base. Also bdoubleo built that mountain to put cyclops inside.

Bdubs didn't clear out that cave... the mountain is hollow because *he built the mountain*, and then Tango filled it with the cyclops and lava and stalactites! That Etho Shop was by Bdubs too; it was built to get Etho's (Iskall's) diamonds.

That one crazy mountain is a shattered Savannah, they seem to get a lot more wild on java than bedrock, not sure if that's a real thing but I lived in one on bedrock for like a year without even realizing it, and every other one I've seen is just like a normal tall mountain. Maybe I just unlucky though

The place with all the Nether portals is a gold farm. It harvests all the zombie piglins that spawn at the portals.

Definitely check out season 7. Season 8 got cut really short compared to other seasons so a lot was left unfinished. Season 7 there’s a lot more long-term mega builds and tons of inspiration!

That hole that goes to void was made by them using moss to dig and the boats on top of it is called the boatem pole
They had a datapack to make armor stands loose gravity and make them invisible... check out ZombieCleo, she's the queen of building out of just the small floating items the armor stands have in their hands!

season 6 they had to stay to a certain style, they made different districts and stuff. you should check out that one .
the lab that you saw is the factory from charlie and the chocolate factory! the room you saw was the chocolate room-field :)
Grin and scar and mumbo and Perl is the area known as botem, hints the boats, and the hole is the botem hole lol
Well, back to my world with the 7x7 dirt hut and bed.
Grian's base is based on Diogon alley from Harry Potter and the grand building at the end is gringotts bank he called it griangotts bank! ( I think). Also you are amazing and your building skills are out of this world. 🙃

the factory you went in is willy wonka's chocolate factory and the part where u entered the room to check interior is mostly accurate
They did stick to a theme in one season but it was like if you were at this specific part of an island you would have to stick to a theme in that part iykwim

I would go through the whole video and tell you which bases are whos, but I don’t think I could or want to. I have massive respect for all of them, and you. (Also 3:09 is one of the biggest bases on the server, it’s impulses. It’s meant to be the factory from Charlie and the chocolate factory)
Looking through the top comments, this didn't seem to be explained; The "ETHO" sign and head was a village mostly made by bdubs, as a trade district for Bdubs, Tango and Keralis. Keralis did help a bit with the decoration. The Etho sign is there because the Big Eyez Crew and Grian was fighting for Ethos attention, as Etho was bit of a 'whale' in the shopping districts.
The Armor stands at the castle is some Armor stand magic by ZombieCleo. I don't recall what speciclly they were, but in general Cleo does a lot of stuff with armor stand, which is a slight mod they use to pose armor stands and let them be hidden too for 'floating' blocks.
The "Amplified terrain" at etho and Iskalls base is 'just' how shattered savannas looked on Java 1.17 and previous updates

The hermits didn't clear mountains, They BUILT the mountains.
If you really want to understand, then you should watch season 8, it was short and sweet, but God it had a lot of grat moments.

Those huge hollow mountains are all Built by hand! They weren't generated, they actually placed every single block by hand in Survival!
It's a shame that nothing works in Bedrock edition tho.. I hope you get to see it in Java to see how much more incredible it all Looks and Works when things are as they were built. Like the Armor stands holding the blocks were actually part of the build and shouldn't be seen etc

6:13 is bdubs keralis and tango area bdubs and keralis both build the italic style village
