Not to toot my own horn or anything but this has to be up there as one of my best efforts yet…
This track was produced in an entirely different way, in comparison to all my others, as I now have a more thorough understanding of how to actually use GarageBand. In comparison to the original (see below), this variant has a more ‘radio-ready sound, as the volume of the vocals have not only been reduced but also compressed accordingly. (This is a much quieter mix overall). However, without the use of a professional studio mic (and not to mention, a singer who can really sing) the vocals will never quite be right; the music, however, has never been better.
It’s not perfect but I’m getting there!
