    I will probably need to watch this everyday until judgement comes, the weight of this truth and seriousness is hard to fathom, truly. Glory to God for putting you in the position to be able to articulate this in such a way. May you and your family be blessed in all your days sir.

    Nicely done. As I was discerning your A, B, C logical breakdown, I was reminded how the Holy Scriptures affirms that by “two or three witnesses every word will be established.” This, struck me as yet another beautiful analogy of the Most Holy Trinity.

    Have you heard of Chris Langan and his theory of the CTMU? The reoccurring theme of being as communion, and his theory which supposes language as the fundamental fabric of reality go very nicely together because the way that I see it there can’t be Communion, without first being a language to commune. The material world is that language and therefore the theater and means of communion.

    this reminds me of when paul says this wisdom (seen at the cross) was ordained for our glory, before the foundation of the world. man would still need to “give up the ghost” in a sense
    “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless a grain of wheat falls into the ground and dies, it remains alone; but if it dies, it produces much grain.”
    ‭‭John‬ ‭12‬:‭24‬ ‭
    it’s eternal wisdom, it’s true whether death enter into the world or not

    Loved this video, I just find intriging the fact that since the Spirit rests in the Son and in eternity it goes back from the Son to the Father, means that he would eternally proceed from both, yet in eastern orthodoxy this notion is obscured in order to protect the monarchy of the Father, but this is not needed to defend the monarchy, because since the Father is the principle of the Trinity we know every other person comes from him but is in his relations that the Spirit eternally proceeds from both even though the Father alone is the cause of the Spirit and the Son.

      I take care and think it wise to discern between causation and participation. While both “take place” and are “experienced” in love, they are somehow different.

      @@makingsmokesince76 The notion is quite simple, the intellect of the Father is his Logos (Son) and his Will is his Spirit, yet we must understand that the Father is Spirit and also Holy and the Son is Spirit and also Holy because they are the same God, Holy Spirit is the Person that proceed from both, not in the same sense because to proceed from a Father is not the same as to proceed from a Son, if your will proceeds from you, you aprehend that will through your intellect so that will proceeds "back" from your intellect to you so that your will is known by you. Now, to talk about going from the Father to the Son and then going back from the Son into the Father it's a very problematic notion since in God there is no time nor space so there is no motion neither dynamism in Him, so there is no coming back from no one, just an eternal procession of the Will and an eternal begetting of the Intellect, but the procession of the Will is between Father and Son, the Holy Spirit is the Person of the Love between Father and Son. This usually is badly understood as the Holy Spirit being subordinated to the Father and the Son which is nonsense, being the Will of the Father known by the Father through his Son does not subordinate his Will in some weird hierarchy of parts, there is no parts in God, the Spirit proceeding from his Son to him simply manifests the perfection of their unity. The Father Loves because he Wills the good of his Son, and the son Loves because he Wills the good of the Father, that Will proceeds from both, that love proceeds from both eternally in such perfect manner that is not just some lower wind that barely flows from one to the other but it's is a Divine Person just like the Father and Son are Divine Persons.

      Adam is not the Son of a Monkey, He's created from the Dust whom Jesus Christ breathed upon. The emphasis of Christ's genealogy going back to David, Abraham, Noah etc. Is just that, real historical people who are of the Seed of Adam.
      The age of the universe is potentially up for debate as is what is ment by a "day" of creation. But it seems self evident to me that as Far as Human History is concerned we're bound by that time line, which is roughly 7000 years or so. 🙏☦️

      @@telosbound not Neo-Darwinian evolution but more of something that entails human life was inevitable even if you rewind the tape of life . God has his influence on it obviously . But does the orthodox faith allow for an allegorical understanding of the creation of story or does it take me out of it. It’s mainly because I’m convinced of evolution as a fact and inspiring philosophies videos also helped . It is one of my main drawbacks with Christianity honestly but thanks for the response .

    Is it something that is a sin or can you be both?

    • @drooskie9525
      @drooskie9525 8 місяців тому +1

      That is a really tough question because there is so much baggage and presuppositions to work through with that, and is also a very sensitive subject to handle.
      To put it bluntly, people have all sorts of passions, so yes, you "can be" such. but lgbt is not a state of being, nor is being "heterosexual". Those became to be seen as "indefinite active principals" operating within people during the rise of Modernity, as Derrida correctly pointed out. It's a lot to unpack.

    I admire the focus on self sacrifice, however, if there is some ultimate payoff, as in eternal life, is it self sacrifice at all? More persuasively, doing good is its own reward, even if it results in nothing and no benefit to the doer. The notion of Adam confronting a crucified Christ is interesting and fanciful. But the philosophical notion that "eating the apple" results in some particular, isolation of humanity from ultimate truth is not really articulated very plausibly or logically. Just asserted out of the blue.
