For those who don't know the history of YGO until now, Sykuno's deck the equivalent of a crossbow while Lily is litterally using a wooden club. The current YGO meta would be people using Gundams
sykunno's deck isn't winning a YCS but you could take it and do fairly well at locals. It just got support cards last year so its somewhat modern.

Modern Yu-Gi-Oh is like the maker of yuumi from League. You can do anything while still playing the game

Sykkuno is that guy that would play a modern yugioh deck against a kid who only watched the first anime and thought it would be fun going to a local cardshop to play with a structure deck.

Though, going first, neither Despia not Salamangreat would be able to do anything without Dark Ruler No More or Droplets.
@@PaladinfffLeeroy No but it would get hand-trapped to death. Theres so many choke points in this deck that a hand trap or 2 targeting the right cards would stop the combos dead in it's tracks

Lily is literally me everytime I face a combo spammer in master duel I just fall asleep. Meanwhile my turns are about 2-3 combos deep but does enough to summon 2-3 cancels.

It's kinda possible with branded despia not combo heavy secure a disruption

you are even worse, you probably play swordsoul and to make it worse you would prefer playing against combos than floodgates

I'd like to see someone actually capable duel Sykkuno. Not just people who start out fresh with a starter deck. Sykkuno can do literally anything and will still have a stronger board.
@@JK-bu4kb For that to happen someone actually has to have a competitive deck. Everyone sykkuno played against had a shitty starter dragon deck, where monsters dont even have any effects on them, while he has his patented synchro summon deck. No matter how good you play, you aint beating his deck with a starter deck

in ocg you can technically negate the opponents surrender, well not really, but your opponent cant scoop if they're being attacked by a lethal damage victory dragon, VD is banned in tcg because people can just scoop whenever.

I hate both sides of what happened on that last turn. I hate sycuno for going overboard and I hate lily for surrendering… I hate people who have clearly won going and summoning their entire deck just to one shot me with any of them. And I hate peoples who surrender when they know they are going to lose. But I feel lily was in the right here. I’m not going to sit around and wait for someone to show off at the very end when I know I can’t win. At that point it feels like I could’ve been onto the next match by now. Actually getting to play. The opponent only needed to attack with the first monster in the first place. Screw this I’m out.

I am the sykkuno of this situation. I put up the best board I can possibly manage before horribly, horribly annihilating my friends. The satisfaction comes from doing the combo correctly. The surrender only matters midcombo, lmfao.
Yeah I'm the same way as her. If u take 35 minutes to take ur turn, u win. I don't have the patience for a 900 card combo. It's a card GAME not a death match.

I had a similar experience.
Except it was at a locals v. Zoodiacs where the guy shuffled his deck for like 5 minutes after every search, then won on time.
Sykkuno should just have clear his mind and go for full board Accel Synchro for entertainment purpose.
