I grew up watching my father eat, anything and everything, quickly, greasily, and so much. I love my father but watching him become larger and stuffing more and more food into his mouth gave me this kind of disgust when eating food. So for about 6-7 years I hated the idea of eating, only eating when I really needed to, to survive. I started watching these mukbang/eating ASMR videos three days ago and I have sooo many pet peeves and irritations and disgusts when watching them. But idk...after the second day it's been getting easier, and especially with this channel. There's so much joy in the eating lmaoo and shockingly it makes me want to grab some fried chicken myself. Possible cure for my disgust in the joy of eating 😂
