Thank you for all your tips and for the "y'all". I am from your neighboring state and hearing a "y'all" on YT is like drinking sweet tea north of the Mason-Dixon line. After 3 of your videos, I am happily a subscriber with a great deal more confidence.

Like the mixing chart but really like the idea of the view finder for segregating a color.

Thank you for this mixing chart idea. I’m just new to water colour so I’m still learning colour mixing. I’m finding it a challenge. So much to learn. So I’m thinking this may really help a lot. Thanks again

Susan Monroe Art thank you fir the advice Susan. It’s so true. Hard not to get discouraged sometimes when my projects don’t turn out the way I want them to. But as my son says enjoy the journey just learn from my mistakes

Love this! Are there extra squares at the bottom in case you buy new colors? Would that work? Thanks so much!

Loved the video...A question...should we also include black?

    • @SusanMonroeArt

armiya khan If your palette includes a black then you should definitely include it. I didn’t include it because this particular palette doesn’t have a black pan of paint.

    Great mixing chart! Brilliant!
Have you tried using Munsell for your color matching?

I only know it from watching oil painter Paul Foxton. He finds it very effective!

I'm new to watercolor and can't wrap my head around this chart. I literally bought every color. Yes....a lot of money but when I mix I just get ick. I actually quit a class I was taking from frustration...

I'm sorry you're having difficulty. I hope you'll still stick with your painting!

@@SusanMonroeArt I did experiment doing a smaller color chart then larger etc. It really was helpful. I practice every day and simple tutorials have really been inspirational.
      Thank you
