    Love your videos, usually watch on the big screen and can't comment or give a thumbs up. Have to get on the PC sometimes to thank you! Blessings from Tennessee.

    Heard the Georgia state parks are very nice.

      This one was a National Forest Service Park. We visited a Ga State Park, and it had a lot of "stuff". But was fairly expensive. It will be in a video in 2 weeks !

    The “beach” usually isn’t that big they fill the lake up in the summer and drain it for the winter

      I kind of figured that, but it was good you mentioned it in the comments!! People do like to see what people who know add !! Thanks a lot for the comment !

    Beautiful Lake, nice campground, not packed in like some here in NY. North Georgia Mountains, looks to be worth a visit.

      I'm really impressed by Georgia. As a life long NYer I had a pretty bad idea of Georgia. But it appears it doesn't deserve the reputation. It has a lot of great places. Check out Next Thursday's video!

      @@GoingNoWhereFast Felt the same way you did. Lived in Northern NJ. Then my wife and I did a southern trip. Fell in love with GA and moved here 16 years ago. Morganton point is a really nice campground. Actually, last time we were there I think we were in the same spot you were in. It was the last site before all the non-utility sites. I really like the drone stuff you do.

      @@Tom-In-Ga Thanks Tom, I appreciate the nice comment. And Georgia is a very big state, lot of variation. Mountains, Sea Coast, Giant Swamps, and Forests. Whats not to Like I guess! (Though the people can be a bit opinionated....Unlike us totally accepting Northerners.....LOLOLOL)

    Snow! We are still waiting for winter in Southern PA. Beautiful campground. Had to think about that cantilevered rig. I guess that’s no different than bouncing down the road. Just looks scary. Happy Camping season 2020.

    how do you do solar with all those trees? great video as usual

    • @GoingNoWhereFast
      @GoingNoWhereFast  4 роки тому

      Well, in this particular camping trip, I had shore power, so did not need solar. When it is really cold (like it was 25degrees at night) or really hot (over 90), I seek out Shore power and the appliances I have. When I boondock, I look for open campsites. But even with all those trees (no leaves yet) I was still getting 3amps per hour during the day. So it is all about how much you use.

      Just some basic things. The friction hinge on the door didn't do much, we had a couple odds and ends that just weren't quite right from the factory. Nothing major, but it is still taken 4 weeks tomorrow.

    Do you have an audio device attached to your GoPro? If so, can I ask what it is?

    • @GoingNoWhereFast
      @GoingNoWhereFast  3 роки тому

      I do not. Generally I use my Canon to record the audio and the gopro for the usable video, but when I do use the GoPro audio, I boost it in production and smooth it out when editing. I just bought the new GP 9, so we will see if that is any better !

    Loved the tour. Bathhouses nice which is always good to hear and the beach looks nice. Looks like good place to kayak. Does the little table just fold flat for storage or do u take it apart and store in bag? What are the rates to stay in the park? Nice shades Akila (I know I will get the spelling wrong but I can’t check without losing my writing)

    • @GoingNoWhereFast
      @GoingNoWhereFast  4 роки тому

      The table comes in a little bag, the top and Legs are seperate and you snap the top to the legs to make it very stable and nice. Akela was spelled very close !! I believe the Rate for the park was a bit high for my taste. Standard Electric = $27.00 Standard Electric Double = $45.00 Standard Non Electric = $18.00.
