I think he is making a point to kill all, flows, cadences, and rhyme schemes, to make sure he is by far the best in every category, even speed. So to people that don't just nerd of over his bars, rhyming schemes, word bending, cadence, etc. I can understand how this new version would be a turn off. IMO he did sound good in his earlier shit, but that was not the focal reason why I listened to him. The reason why I listened to him way back on the slim shady LP, was because I knew that I was hearing the absolute best I have ever heard rap.
