Another great video Neil glad you got Another coyote far to many of them in the woods your fur is beginning to add up that great thanks for sharing what's in your kit keep on trapping
That was a nice size coyote, like you said looked bigger than 31 pounds , you got a lot of items in the kit hope you have a great weekend my buddy and keep trapping the buggers
The only thing that I would suggest for adding to your bag is some basic 1st aid supplies 👍You can generally find them in a small zip up pouch or you could make your own.
BRO, you definitely need to put drags on the traps that are in the open areas. People WILL STEAL even if you don’t. Things are tough and others do not care about you or your property. I’m totally surprised they did not take your trap too. Nice looking coyote.✌🏻🇺🇸🙏🏽😎
What I do after I cover my trap with dirt I get a small stick about half around size of a pencil and one and a half as long as a pencil and use that over top of my trap to smooth it out and get rid of any small rocks that way if you spring your trap it won't catch a finger or two and maybe make you pee your pants lol just something I was taught when I started trapping
I’ve always wondered if we give these animals too much credit for being hyper aware, fearful, wary, crafty, observant, etc. when we set traps. The animals don’t know that we’ve set traps for them that will either kill them or lead to their ultimate demise but, WE act like they’re constantly on the look out for traps or they heard that we’re out there gunning for them😂 I mean there have been times when I’ve almost stepped on animals as big as deer, out in the woods lol

Really enjoyed this video Neil. Trap thieves are scum! At lease they left your trap. Nice coyote! Thanks for taking us along. 😊

@@AlmostOffGridGrandma i usually have a roll of black tape lol
@@Black_River_Outdoors Tuck tape would seal a wound better, lol, plus it's good for fixing things that break. Black tape won't do that 😁
