SAF played Lindergaard so that he could have enough appearances to claim a premier league medal. De Gea has vastly improved by then and was the firmly established number 1

but still has his prem medal probs in his living room. the title was won and it wouldve been really disappointing for him to not leave with the medal. he mightve conceded 5 goals but still has more medals than Gerrard and all the current liverpool team combined

There are many reasons to dislike him, the only people who actually like him are Manchester United fans as most neutrals never liked him because of his bad behaviour and bullying.
