Originally from Sheringham as a child there in the late 40’s,50’s and 60’s I remember the crabs being bigger. Surprised females are used.. shouldn’t they be put back to propagate species? In Victoria British Columbia’s Canada’s, waters females are returned to waters to propagate. They would be an illegal catch here. This keeps fishing stocks up.
