There’s a small ball on the knuckle joint on the claw you need to remove with a knife to separate the claw and knuckle. It’s almost impossible to do by hand!
@@oldironsides4107 By "best part" you mean the part that everyone throws away? I don't believe even our Asian friends eat the gills. I know some people like the "crab butter" the hepatopancreas, but yeah this fellow was eating everything from the esophagus to the poop-chute. Kinda gross. I wouldn't eat that mush unless near death from starvation.
My mother used to use a knitting needle to get every single scrap of white meat out 😂
How long do you need to derost a crab from the freezer?
I bought two from you yesterday
They are really big, bigger than I thought they would be😊👍

I am surprised that you did not remove and dispose of the crabs' stomach.
The gills and membrane are the best part.
The brown meat taste what a 30 year railroad bums mouth would taste like.

Worth mentioning that the white meat is muscle tissue.
Is it the same with all crabs
im sorry but everyone knows you start with his socks 😂😂
Yeah, the so called "brownmeat" is the hepatopancreas and ovaries. So not really "meat" but glands and other offal.
