Ciao Ermanno sono io Valentino, I have a question: How do you change the font size in the alpine email client (so the recipient can my emails better)? I have been struggling for hours............
I have been using pine since it was originally released from the University of Washington. Back when you had to edit the configuration file manually. I still use it today 30 years later. You can use it to handle multiple email accounts. Truthfully, I set this up by editing the configuration file manually. I’m sure it’s available in the settings somewhere though.
@@rickgaine3476 I wish there were more dot config or dotfiles online for it. The colors are hideous and I'd love syntax highlighting for the columns to make reading easier. I still can't even set it up - get my gmail or yandex account to work, though.
Alpine crashed on me a couple times already. I cannot seem to get Alpine working or find out where the config files are so that I can copy it to my other PC - although why would I if I cannot get it to work with gmail or yandex? You should have put "server" in your title.
Thanks ermanno for such a great video. I have a question and a request: Question: Is it possible to use more than one email addresses in Alpine? Request: Can you please make similar videos for those email clients which are included in RHCE exam?
@@eflinux Not in RHCSA. But it is included in RHCE (to configure email server). I was looking at a course outline of a training institute (for RHCE) and Sendmail and Postfix were mentioned in their Brochure. I was wondering that if you can guide us about configuring these two. Thanks
Following your tutorials guarantees that everything work out of the box. Thanks again, sir.
Glad to help!
Always happy to discover new Linux apps thanks to Ermanno!

Thanks again Ermanno! I tried the setup just following the Alpine Wiki. I was lost. You saved me yet again.

Glad it works!
The Master at work creating another lecture, thank you sir.
Used to use pine in the early 2000's as it was installed by default on Slackware. It also included the pico editor (which nano is based on).
Great video, thank you so much. If only I knew how to set up a mail server..

03:44 Just a small correction: It's not a "a few informations" but "some information". Information is an uncountable noun. ;)
Greatly appreciated.
Looks interesting but how does it handle multiple email accounts? And can Alpine manage accounts from such providers as Proton and Tutanota?
Haven't tried multiple accounts yet, as well as Proton.

I haven't tried yet. As for the RHCSA the creation of a mail server is not a topic of the exam.

Oh I see. Yes, I'll definitely look into that.
@@eflinux Thanks a lot :)
Love Alpine. Outlook 365 is soooo bloated. Would you make a video of how to set it up with this service? Thanks!
