i actually became their fan because of their new album...i like their old stuff too, some songs more than others but i LOVE their new album the most! Not sure why theres hate
this whole album makes me so nostalgic tbh it came out right as I was getting into Paramore and I just have so many memories with this one in particular. I listened to it all the time in middle school. can't believe it was that long ago.
bad351bronco it's actually a genre-neutral album as there were a variety of genres on self-titled, but if you really want to classify it, i would say experimental rock is a pretty good term.
The song that got me into paramore was Careful because I saw andrea russet dancing to it, so I searched up the lyrics and I saw it and listened to more of their music. I dont know why people think they changed. BVB they had a little bit of screaming in their music, but now they barely scream anymore, and I dont hear anyone complaining about them. Just because Paramore's music may have gotten just a drop of a different, doesn't mean they changed. They are still the same Paramore and I love them different or the same.
The way I see it is that their music has changed and broadened a little bit, like it has in every album, but it's not THAT big of a change. The thing I notice more is the way Hayley sings. She admitted that she loves the fact that she can sing happy now because it took so much energy to sing angry all the time. However, I think the way she sang angry like that is what drew a lot of fans in. Now that she's singing in a happier tone, a lot of fans don't like the sound as much. Personally, I think all the music Paramore has made is great, but I would like to see Hayley get the edge back in her voice, because that was the one constant in their 3 previous albums that we all love.
All We Know Is Falling, Riot, Brand New Eyes, Paramore, After Laughter, This Is Why. All amazing albums, each with different sounds, styles, and vibes. An interesting phenomenon I’ve noticed is that fans initially disagree with the newer sounds, but as paramore’s music ages, the fans and their taste seem to age with it, which is neat

oh man, everytime i listen to old paramore music i cry. i associated hayley and my old therapist together because the cherry red hair, it brings me a sense of warmth because i know i'll never have that bond with anyone else
wrong, this is pop influenced indie rock. Same elements as pop, same song structure as a standard pop song. To call it pop, would be incomplete. To say it isn't pop would be inaccurate.
"theyre not the same as before!!" ok no one is the same they were 9 years ago. yeah paramore more changed, but so did fall out boy, panic!, three days grace, and basically almost every band
I'm seeing a lot of comments on how they've 'changed' and by that, it looks as if people seem to think they've just trashed their style when the only thing they've really changed up is their sound, and the only word I can think of is that you're mad for confusing this with just pop. But then people go on to confusing pop with what it actually means. The term 'pop' is what we generally use for what we call 'popular music' ; it really doesn't have much to do with how something sounds. So, 'still into you' i believe to be known as a big 'pop' song, because it's a fairly big single that they released..therefore the song is 'popular' it's not just 'poppy sounding' just like 'that's what you get', 'misery business' and 'decode' are all well known songs...but obviously better known by their fans(I'm one of em) The band itself for that matter, are underrated, so it wouldn't be correct or true to think/say that their songs are 'poppy crap', but that's just someone's opinion, and everybody is entitled to do so, so I'm just doing what everyone else is doing. I will say also that seeing so many of you complain about them 'changing' just makes me think what it'd be like if they kept the same sound from when they started..you'd all probably still be complaining, and it would've gone down the exact same way. Paramore are one example of a real, talented band, I love what they're doing now, their creativity is just amazing, it's good that they're trying different things; they're risk takers! ...Sure, nobody is telling you to like it.
It's not like the old music has vanished, it's still there. You can wallow in your sadness about Paramore's change of speed but think about it. Punk rock isn't popular anymore and everyone forgot about Paramore. How else were they going to be heard again? Stop commenting "I miss the old Paramore." Get over it.
***** well I readed it and I totally agree. There are al lot of "haters" there, and I think if they only take a second to hear, to really hear, Paramore they would realise it is a very varied band, that still being so great. I'm tired of going to new Paramore songs and only read commentaries about how great they were and how they've been changed (bad change).
Nia García I think everyone is misreading all the disappointed reactions towards Paramore's new album. Paramore used to be pretty different from any other music that was popular for their time. That always comes with set backs such as not being played on the radio as often as other music genres and just flat out not being well known in certain groups and ages. In these past few years so many bands and singers have been attacking the specific category of teenage girls because we all know if you want to get popular that and the radio will get you far. In my opinion, Paramore sold out to be more well known just like so many others. I still love them though. I'm just very much looking forward to their next album. Hopefully they haven't adopted this new music style completely now that they've gotten on heard.
***** and Misguided Ghosts is purely a heavy and slow song. I wish they would make it their new single, but they haven't played it enough for that; nor has it gotten enough popularity
always loved her voice...honestly...there are many bands out there i like...but paramore is one of the few bands in which the voice really stands out in a special way
I dont know what's the difference between the old paramore and the new one... But i heard some of their songs backthen.... The songs were great.. Its just i dont care if they are changing now.. I dont care if they are now creating pop music.. I just wanna say that they make great songs.. Pop or punk rock or whatever other classifications. THEY ARE STILL THE BEST BAND FOR ME.
If I had to rank Paramore's albums, this is how it would go: 1. Self Titled 2. This Is Why 3. Brand New Eyes 4. Riot 5. After Laughter 6. AWKIF In the end, all of their albums are masterpieces, and this is my opinion.
for some reason, all i can think of is the sesame street version of drive my car by the beatles and i don't know how to deal with having "elmo you can drive my car beep beep yeah" repeating in my head send help
I, for one, LOVE the new Paramore! Sure, I loved the old one too. But as long as they are comfortable with themselves and their new sound, I'm happy! I love Paramore no matter what!

Will love forever!! This album came out during a super cool and fun part of my life!!! Good memories!! ❤️❤️❤️
oh man, everytime i listen to old paramore music i cry. i associated hayley and my old therapist together because the cherry red hair, it brings me a sense of warmth because i know i'll never have that bond with anyone else
I really love how they've grown artistically.
This song is so fun. Underrated
the people who consider this pop clearly don't listen to pop music.
yep. people are mad
It does have some indie pop influences. But it's more like a mashup of alt rock and indie pop. People may call this pop because of the rest of the LP.
wrong, this is pop influenced indie rock. Same elements as pop, same song structure as a standard pop song. To call it pop, would be incomplete. To say it isn't pop would be inaccurate.
this is like Alternative Rock
@@FRANX0618 alternative pop rock
"theyre not the same as before!!" ok no one is the same they were 9 years ago. yeah paramore more changed, but so did fall out boy, panic!, three days grace, and basically almost every band
MY ALL TIME FAVORITE BAND!!!!!!!
best paramore album imo.
I'm learning to drive.... fast in my car!! ❤
"No one's the same as they used to be" they said it themselves. People change! :)
Um dos melhores álbuns
The guitar in the beginning is such a glory
I feel like a badass when I hear this song. Then, I stub my toe and cry a little. xD
this has been stuck in my head allll day
loving the new album and this song ALWAYS IN MY HEAD!!
Paramore is the best pop band, i tried to hate them.. but its easy to listen to a playlist of their music all day long.. im glad they exist.
dgs .astgh they're rock lmao
I'm seeing a lot of comments on how they've 'changed' and by that, it looks as if people seem to think they've just trashed their style when the only thing they've really changed up is their sound, and the only word I can think of is that you're mad for confusing this with just pop. But then people go on to confusing pop with what it actually means. The term 'pop' is what we generally use for what we call 'popular music' ; it really doesn't have much to do with how something sounds. So, 'still into you' i believe to be known as a big 'pop' song, because it's a fairly big single that they released..therefore the song is 'popular' it's not just 'poppy sounding' just like 'that's what you get', 'misery business' and 'decode' are all well known songs...but obviously better known by their fans(I'm one of em)
The band itself for that matter, are underrated, so it wouldn't be correct or true to think/say that their songs are 'poppy crap', but that's just someone's opinion, and everybody is entitled to do so, so I'm just doing what everyone else is doing.
Happy almost Birthday self-titled! Thanks for being there when i needed you the most in 2013
this is such a bop. Xxxxx
So glad i found this song
It's not like the old music has vanished, it's still there.
You can wallow in your sadness about Paramore's change of speed but think about it.
Punk rock isn't popular anymore and everyone forgot about Paramore.
How else were they going to be heard again?
Stop commenting "I miss the old Paramore."
Get over it.
It’s 10:16 in the morning. I am like half up half asleep being like oh yeah good vibes in the morning 😀😀😀😀😀😀
THAT BASSLINE
THIS IS MY FAVORITE BAND
You can say whatever you want. I don't think this is even close to be pop.
I don't think they're falling under too, but I mean that now everybody says Paramore has became on a cheap-comercial-pop band, and I don't think so.
***** oh yeah. derp.
always loved her voice...honestly...there are many bands out there i like...but paramore is one of the few bands in which the voice really stands out in a special way
Any song they realease is amazing
I love this song! 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍💛💛💛💛💛💛💛💛💛💛💛💛💛💛💛💛💫💫💫💫💫💫💫💫💫💫💫💫💫💫
The drums!!!!!
I adore this album I used to work for Warner music / Atlantic records and got her album for free and linkin parks latest album
THEY ARE STILL THE BEST BAND FOR ME.
this has been by far my favorite song since last year...I still put it on loud as hell and dance my ass off!!! LOVE paramore!!!!
I love the vibes of this song :>
If I had to rank Paramore's albums, this is how it would go:
1. Self Titled
2. This Is Why
3. Brand New Eyes
4. Riot
5. After Laughter
6. AWKIF
In the end, all of their albums are masterpieces, and this is my opinion.
i think their first first 4 albums are the greatest
I LOVE THIS MUSIC 🇧🇷
Tmb 😭😭
They were a punk rock band and still are (mostly). Now it's a mix of pop and rock/punk.
We dwiving FAST IN MY CAAAAAAA
The second best song on the album in my opinion
for some reason, all i can think of is the sesame street version of drive my car by the beatles and i don't know how to deal with having "elmo you can drive my car beep beep yeah" repeating in my head send help
I, for one, LOVE the new Paramore! Sure, I loved the old one too. But as long as they are comfortable with themselves and their new sound, I'm happy! I love Paramore no matter what!
