What a great boys day out. You are bringing wonderful childhood memories flooding back for me. We spent many weeks as children in the summer holidays down in Bordeaux. We loved it. We used to stop on a great big campsite called Le Viviers. It was in the middle of a great big forest which gave plenty of shade in the middle of the day. We used to swim in their huge big lagoon. It was fabulous. I haven't been back in years although I have been back to a different area of France since. Hope you all had a fabulous time and proper enjoyed yourselves.

I can't help laughing every time I watch videos of people in France complaining that it's "hot" outside. I live in Florida. It gets to 100 degrees (37.8 C) on my porch, with a heat index of 106 degrees (41.1 C). It's so hot here that I actually cooked an egg on my pool deck once, just because I wanted to see if it would cook. It did. Plants wilt bad during the day here too. The humidity here is ridiculous. In the Sumner, you have to do outside stuff at sun up because the heat and sun are so intense the rest of the day that it's just too much to be outside.
Ryan on the slide made me chuckle 😂 Definitely feels a bit strange with Alex the Cameraman and a whole different editing style. However, I will get used to it.

Oh my word !! Seeing you clean the windscreen brought back memories of my approx 20 holidays in France to the Dordogne and further South to the Prades area. Thousands upon thousands of miles, cleaning the windscreen at every stop due the abundance of insect life. In the UK we've pretty much killed everything with pesticides and herbicides dammit, but a holiday at the end of May was always a treat to see the abundance of orchids and bird life. Cherished memories indeed.
