This song was written by Steve Young and released in 1969. In their heyday, the Eagles used it as a backstage, acapella warm-up before each concert. Their harmonizing was amazing!
Great song but STEVE YOUNG couldn't hold a candle to the Eagles cover! he was ok, but they made it Great! Alan Did as good or better than Mr. Young!
This man has a voice like pure honey, and this is a wonderful version of this song~! Will always be partial to the Eagles version, but this is a great alternative.

Killer version of this Eagles song,man. Putting his signature bluegrass musical genius on this song is impeccable. He should record it. The harmony gives me cold chills,it's so good! This is a Steve Young song and the Eagles just happened to sing it. They did a great job with it.
@@georgesirving5913 I know he wrote it and recorded it on his 1st album,but the eagles integrated harmonies to it,recorded it and it charted in the top 40 when I was 18. That version to me was the best until Alan did his bluegrass version and in my opinion, topped all the other versions,by far! 💙😉
Actually, this was written and originally recorded by Steve Young in the early 70s. The Eagles just did a cover of it.
