I don’t think the prosecution should keep pushing this thread that he didn’t REALLY care or have concern for his wife. It’s very possible that he is guilty AND was worried about his wife and unborn child.

Growing up in the hood, there's definitely stories out there of gangbangers using unsuspecting people for rides to go do drive-bys and other crimes of that nature. So his story is very much possible. He's just as guilty for KNOWING what his son was going to do shooting those people. If he had cooperated with the police he might have gotten a lighter sentence but in hindsight, they were killed because of him. A supposed drug deal owed money or whatever some people are saying.
Either way, you're right, cooperate with the police, tell them why they were killed, maybe get a lighter prison sentence because he didn't pull the trigger. But then he'd also have to tell them where his son is. He's guilty AF just seeing the web of lies in his testimony on the stand here.
