    Definitely one of the best videos I’ve watched from Samuel. This couple have something about them that’s really inspiring. I can’t quite put my finger on it but I love how they started from humble begins and are doing so great. Also, the values they are handing down to their children, simply priceless. “Rather than just give a hungry man fish, teach him how to fish”.

    As well as giving good property advice etc he is becoming a great interviewer and because he is interviewing people usually about property his interest but also interviewing celebs on his own UA-cam channel etc the UA-cam ad dollars will give him even more money to buy more property etc
    Win Win etc

    Doesn't make sense to me when your parents own 150 properties that you have to go on a crash course to learn about property investing

    • @SamuelLeeds
      @SamuelLeeds  3 роки тому +30

      I know lots of wealthy parents that have sent their adult children to my courses because they know their value. Would Elton John not send his children to piano lessons?

    • @warriorspirit6083
      @warriorspirit6083 3 роки тому +7

      @@SamuelLeeds your analogy doesn't stack up. I very much doubt Elton John if he had children would send his children for piano lessons because naturally they would learn this skill from the parents.
      If my father was a bricklayer and wanted to pursue this career I would be learning off him instead of going on a course.
      I'm not doubting the content of your course, this is just my observation.
      By the way I'm a seasoned property investor with a decent portfolio of properties

      @@warriorspirit6083 Many thanks for taking the time to comment. He attended along with both his mother and myself, yes we still attend training even after 30 years in business. We believe that it is important to be around like minded people, at every opportunity, not to mention the networking benefits. Our son is very lucky that he is able to learn from us at home, however Samuels story of buying a house aged 17 is what inspired our son to want to buy a house before his 17th birthday! Last years crash course had a fundamental impact on our sons business launch, we are super proud of him for that and grateful for Samuels inspiring content and training sessions. As a parent trying to teach your child it can seem very mundane and boring at times, but hearing from a third party with so much energy and enthusiasm becomes infectious. I hope this helps.

      The fact that they take this much time to respond should be proof of if it’s too good to be true. and people still believe paying thousands of dollars for these courses will make them successful is insanity and the fact these gurus are allowed on the internet baffles me I cannot wait until this guy and that fake rich couple go to prison

    So who was the rent paid to under the lease option agreement? Where did the £800 go? If the seller was so motivated to sell it why would he then rent it? I'm confused

    • @leegough68
      @leegough68 2 роки тому +1

      Hi Dean, just to answer your questions. The £800 went to the owner of the property, this covers any mortgage they may have and normally a bit extra. The reason he did lease option was he could not rent as there was no kitchen and was in a poor state of repair and lived 1 hour away and did not have the energy or interest in renovating it. This was a win win for both parties. I hope that helps.

    Wow this 16 year old is incredible! But couple questions, so I assume the JV partner paid cash for the property £36K. If the investor is getting a 5% annum return. So that's like £150 a month. And of the rent is £450 does the 16 year old just get to keep that £350 difference before management fees e.t.c
    I dont understand why the investor would not just pay him a fat sourcing fee and get to keep 100% of the rent as I do believe this was a more profitable approach in the long term for him

    • @leegough68
      @leegough68 3 роки тому +5

      Many thanks for taking the time to comment. Very good question. The purchase price was £36,000 plus costs, no stamp duty as below £40,000. The investor gets £162.97 per month return @ 5%. In answer to your question, ‘why would the investor not want to buy it’ is simply because they have zero interest in being a landlord and are a at a different stage in their life and just want a fixed rate of return. The surplus funds after the investor is paid and also insurance management etc are being retained in his company for maintenance, voids etc. I hope this helps.

    The weird thing is schools used to teach some of the more baaic things with business atleast when my wife and i were going to school as kids and teens but that in the 80s and 90s haha. They won't teach any of the financial things we know because then they would have way more people rich rather than poor and the government hates when people realize they don't have to be poor at any age or any race or sex! Any of us can do it, it's just a matter of whether or not you want to succeed or stay sad.
