Susan Yara's brand Naturium and Elf both have affordable essences, just wanted to post this in case anyone is wanting to find an affordable essence... Also, I know it's listed as a "toner" but Walmart has a skincare line called Earth to Skin and they have a Manuka Honey "toner" that is very hydrating and reminds me more of an essence than a toner.
I've switched to natriuam green cleanser. I love it! My face feels so happy after using it! :) I've been breaking out like no other, the masks don't help at all. I love your guys show! It helps me a lot what I need to do. :)

I’m a nurse who often works on the covid unit, after long shifts I sometimes carry more with me than I should. Something I recently discovered and enjoy is watercolour painting! Having been stuck indoors most of 2020, I thought I’ll tap into my creative side. Something rare and un-achievable in my daily 9 to 5. It has helped my de-stress but most importantly... be present in that moment. I’m no Picasso, but simply being engaged in mixing colours, putting paint to paper, details in the subject has allowed me to un-wind and recharge my mental battery. Also being consistent and sticking to a skincare regime during lockdown has helped my acne. I am able to focus on detoxing the skin with no makeup, more sleep and do a proper Korean skincare routine (my credit card is not pleased). Thanks for this video! I've been so drawn to the Amore Pacific essence :) One way I slow down is by noticing & being aware of the present moment. My practice is to pay attention to all my sensations, the weight of gravity on my body, the contact to the chair, floor or surface I'm on, and noticing my breath and what it has to teach me about where I'm at. I have 3 questions: 1. So is it better to use a toner ánd an essence or to only use an essence? (I have oily dehydrated skin, so oily on the outside and dehydrated on the inside) 2. What I love to do everyday is my afternoon tea. I schedule a block of time out of my afternoons everyday in the work week to make my favorite tea (Jasmine green tea, or rose petal peppermint). I also will read what ever book I am currently reading for 30 min(usually romance/mystery novels lol), and I write a note to myself about how my day is going so far, and what I am grateful for in my journal. I work a lot in the mornings, and they tend to be super busy, so my afternoon teas are the best thing to do to quiet down my mind and take a break. I've started to take my time in the morning with my skin care routine. I now that sounds odd, most people are taking their time with their nighttime routine. At night I'm so tired and worn out, from; school, chores, and etc. Because I got to online school I can do my skin care routine while I'm in Algebra 1, or something. With quarantine i started stretching and branching out into yoga. As someone who is used to a faster paced workout at the gym, this slower paced exercise is much more soothing and alleviating. Taking the time to do that has really helped with sore muscles and anxiety.

Having some one on one with my best friend who lives far sway is the best. We wake up really early in the morning once or twice a week to make time for eachother and get ready together doing our hair and skincare while catching up. Its just the best!

I like to take time and sit in silence. Being as fully present and mindful as my mind and body allows me to be. Whether on a blanket outside listening to the eucalyptus in the breeze, birds in the sky, eating and really tasting while allowing myself to not feel food guilt (im in ed recovery) practicing yoga, journaling, penning poetry, doing my skincare routine, or anything in between. I find that for the benefits of slowing down, it doesn’t matter what I’m doing, as long as I’m in some level of silence so I can mindfully search the crevices and cracks and baggage in the overhead compartment in my mind. As a mom of a 4 year old and a new baby girl my entire body has gone through some drastic change after my baby. Skincare in the AM and PM reminds me to be kind to myself getting 10 min of self care is all I need to start and end my day.

To be honest I really enjoy taking my time to fold laundry. I'm sorry for all the questions! I'm quite new to skincare and all the information there is online is kinda overwhelming so I'm trying to find a start :)
Recently, since I've been at home more often, I get to spend a lot of time with my loved ones and fur babies. So best part of my day is just relaxing with them all there. 😊
I used to rush through my meals so I could be more productive, but now I like to slowly enjoy my food while watching some youtube videos or a Netflix drama!
What I love to do everyday is my afternoon tea. I schedule a block of time out of my afternoons everyday in the work week to make my favorite tea (Jasmine green tea, or rose petal peppermint). I also will read what ever book I am currently reading for 30 min(usually romance/mystery novels lol), and I write a note to myself about how my day is going so far, and what I am grateful for in my journal. I work a lot in the mornings, and they tend to be super busy, so my afternoon teas are the best thing to do to quiet down my mind and take a break. I love to take time at night to reflect upon my day. Slowing down to really point out all the positives during the day and what I should work on to better myself.
One thing I enjoy slowing down, and taking my time doing now is reading to my children, and answering all their questions before we turn the page.
It is a bit challenging during the pandemic but I really enjoy having intellectual or even getting lost in exploring what makes someone tick (aka getting into the intimate and vulnerable side of people). I have learned that the most nurturing part of life is connection.
I recently started korean skincare recommended by this chanel and after 2 weeks of continual morning and night time routine my skin has improved a lot🙏🏻. And before i used to use affordable skincare hoping that it works, but now i believe that you must know your skincare before using it and you can splurge a little bit and get the result you wanted thanks to this channel😍💋
I started really researching and devoting my time to skin care and self care once I found you two! Dedicating time to this has been so beneficial. Otherwise I love to read or journal with some really nice music and tea. Love you guys and all your videos!
I like to slow down by spending time outdoors with my pets. They are really so smart and loving. A good double cleanse and full skin care routine at night doesn't hurt either🥰
I love to take my time to go through my morning routine, from skincare, to coffee, to breakfasts. I would light my candle and turn on my diffuser to start the day well.

I like to slow down and tidy up and reorganise and clean my bathroom, I think it’s a time I enjoy to look at my products I like to organise them back into order after making a mess with them during the week. Coming back into a clean bathroom at the end of a busy day for a shower and take time and do my skin care routine is actually my fav!

I love taking my time during the morning. I start by doing my morning routine which is like therapy to me because I find it so relaxing. Then I'd normally go make breakfast along with a cup of coffee or matcha latte. Having breakfast while watching youtube videos is also a way for me to slow down and enjoy my mornings :)

I started using an essence in place of an everyday toner and I love it. I still use a chemical toner on weekend nights and still follow it up with the essence.

I've started to take my time in the morning with my skin care routine. I now that sounds odd, most people are taking their time with their nighttime routine. At night I'm so tired and worn out, from; school, chores, and etc. Because I got to online school I can do my skin care routine while I'm in Algebra 1, or something. I take the time to apply sunscreen and be really gentle with my skin. I've be indulging in my skin care, which makes me very happy! Thanks for all of the much needed information over the years! With quarantine i started stretching and branching out into yoga. As someone who is used to a faster paced workout at the gym, this slower paced exercise is much more soothing and alleviating. Taking the time to do that has really helped with sore muscles and anxiety.

Having some one on one with my best friend who lives far sway is the best. We wake up really early in the morning once or twice a week to make time for eachother and get ready together doing our hair and skincare while catching up. Its just the best!

I like to take my time doing my night time skincare routine. It's very therapeutic for me and is a perfect time for me to just focus on me. I also take the time to write in my journal after my skincare routine. Even if I didn't do much within the day, there's always so many things going on in one's head so I think it's nice to write them down and reflect on them.

Very recently I discovered Moon Lattes😊. Now every night, right before bed, I make my Moon Latte and drink it while reading a nice book. So relaxing and now I fall right to sleep.
I like to take time and sit in silence. Being as fully present and mindful as my mind and body allows me to be. Whether on a blanket outside listening to the eucalyptus in the breeze, birds in the sky, eating and really tasting while allowing myself to not feel food guilt (im in ed recovery) practicing yoga, journaling, penning poetry, doing my skincare routine, or anything in between. I find that for the benefits of slowing down, it doesn’t matter what I’m doing, as long as I’m in some level of silence so I can mindfully search the crevices and cracks and baggage in the overhead compartment in my mind. I like slowing down in silence, in peaceful search of who I am, why I feel what I feel, what I can give, and how best I can rest my weary head. 🖤

As a mom of a 4 year old and a new baby girl my entire body has gone through some drastic change after my baby. Skincare in the AM and PM reminds me to be kind to myself getting 10 min of self care is all I need to start and end my day.

My favourite thing to do is my nighttime skincare as for me it’s like “me and me time”. Therapeutic is how I would describe my skincare routine. It doesn’t matter how long it takes, skincare is a simply a way to take care of myself or expression of self love.It’s exciting for me to learn about ingredients and how effectively use them in our daily lives. To be honest I really enjoy taking my time to fold laundry. I am going into some sort of meditative state and I am aware of every little detail (feeling of the material, structure of the clothes) and I am trying to fold the them with the most care and love so all of my clothing pieces would stay with me for a long long time ☺️
