OMG The girl with the bear pijamas and school uniform is Lain from Serial Experiments Lain one of my favorite tv shows ever, i dont even know that Lain have a toy line.
I have the same obsession over the booklets. For some reason they produce the feeling of nostalgia better than the toys. I think it's because as a kid I would look at those booklets for hours to add information for my overactive imagination. I felt it again watching you in this video. Thanks!
Exactly, spent a LOT of time dreaming about what MIGHT be while looking through those books. Hard for the actual figures to compete with the imagination.
I've got a pretty good memory of most of the toys I had when I was a kid. I'm not much younger than Dan. So we're basically part of the same generation. It's why I like this channel so much. Pretty much everything discussed on this channel, the "Phonebooth"-videos and otherwise, I recall fondly, and a minor, really cool sort of "spark" of memory will go off in my head. And it's awesome and I appreciate. BUT...just now...watching this video, when those 2 little egg-shaped not-Transformers came out of the box, my head nearly exploded. The one on the left, the brown one, I totally had. And, for whatever reason, I have not REMOTELY thought about it until right now. Not even a hazy recollection. So we're talking, like, 30-year old synapses in my brain that have been collecting dust and atrophying, SUDDENLY JUST springing to life. God help me I actually got "giddy" for a second, suddenly flooded with MANY random memories of playing with that bizarre brown little egg-thing. I believe they were part of the He-Man-universe? (I think you say that in the video?) And they came in 2-packs? For some reason I only distinctly remember the brown one. Really awesome though, lol...Again, this is why I like your channel so much. I really appreciate the work you do. Well done.
Good score finding that GB power suit combiner being almost complete.. There was ALOT of stuff that I didn't recognize either. But you got a vintage batplane so that is cool.
Those Gobot power suits were all over the flea market we went to when I was a kid. I never had any Gobots, but I found G.I. Joes could fit in them, if you bent them just right. So my Joes ran in upgraded power suits and Tron lightcycles.
Skull ball is a blurp ball, good thing you didn't squeeze it all the way or the teeth would've went flying in your face. Funny thing I screamed no! At the screen like it would have saved you.
Nice! I read your comment and then started trying to get them to shoot out and they seem stuck in there. Maybe just the effect of sitting unused for a while. Might actually have to pry them out to dislodge the stuck together materials.
Those mini's are from a line called the trash bag bunch. Gimmick with them was they came in a trash bag that would dissolve in water to reveal the mini.
OH. MY. GOD. WOOOOOOAAAAAAH!!! ALL THIS ACTION FIGURES FROM BERSERK!!!!!!!!! I've never seen anything from berserk before and it blew my mind. Berserk is one of my favorite anime of all time and more than this. At first I was really amazed to see something related tp berserk and than the fact that it was labeled as "japanes knights" made me laugh! hahahahahahah! Great loot man!
I'm pretty sure I've had those hands and feet in accessory boxes for years and didn't realize they went to that robot until I saw this particular piece assembled.
The Berserk figures were kinda big deal 10/15 years ago, at least for me. You got there Gutts Black Swordman and Gutts from the Band of the Hawk. Griffith and Caska came in a two pack, I loved those figures, and I loved the anime. The guy with red trenchcoat is Vash the Stampede from Trigun (made by Kayoodo, I think), also the lady and the skinny guy. The dolls I'm pretty sure are from Serial Experiment Lain, also a nice anime from that age. Also the main character from Vampire Hunter D, designed by Yoshitaka Amano (famous for character design from classics Final Fantasy, Gatchaman, etc.) and the gray haired lady is from Tenchi Muyo, I think Mc Farlane made one or two figures of that series.
Wow i had the power suits for the ship to combind. Totally forgot about those. They were not that great. In fact they kina sucked. I didn't even have enough go bot guys to put in the suits so looked wierd when in combine mode. Good stuff Dan thanx for the trip back
It's a bootleg of a VF-1A Valkyrie from Robotech/Macross (specifically a bootleg of a japan only figure that was not released in the US for the Robotech toyline). Pretty strange finding something like that at a yard sale of all places.
I see them pop up every once in a while in batches of stuff like this (80s toys). 98% of the time broken. I did find a regular Fokker VF-1S not too long ago intact WITH his tiny little gun.
Guts, young guts green cape, gripphiff silver armor, vas a female. Vampire hunter d. Trigun red and suited fig. red fig named vash the stampede, forgot the name of the other guy but I know that he is a priest and he comes with a wicked transforming cross gun.
Hey dan Tall guy with tall black hat, D from vampire hunter D. Dark haired girl is from tenchi muyo. Dark haired girl in white, red guy and guy in suit with round thing on hand are from Trigun. Girls in soft goods are from serial experiments Lain. cool haul there all those Joe Catalogues and Blueprints and all the other printed material.
yup, agree, the japanese nights plastic bag had some sweet toys, Trigun, Berserk and Tenchi Muyo... I would love to find those figures and have them on display.
My goal is never to spend a lot at a flea market. Usually it's just people who have boxes of stuff and they don't know or care what they have. Figures are like $1 a piece. That's not every day and it's not every flea market. But if you go enough and get lucky you find some great stuff at great prices.
That Vampire Hunter D is figure so cool!!
These photobooth videos are so addicting! I have so many things to do!
OMG The girl with the bear pijamas and school uniform is Lain from Serial Experiments Lain one of my favorite tv shows ever, i dont even know that Lain have a toy line.

I loved that batwing! Once again I tossed it out years ago, big mistake. Live and learn.
You also Had Vash and Wolfwood from Vash the Stampede as well
WOW! Those Berserk Figures are so boss!
Great figures especially when you consider how long ago they came out. 2001!

Your channel makes me happy.
Trigun figures: red is Vash the Stampede, bluish suit is Nicholas D. Wolfwood, girl is Meryl Strife
Trash Bag Bunch are the Guys similar to monster in my pocket.
I love these kind of videos.
The second bag had a few trash bag bunch figures. I remember owning the green dog one you picked up.
Trash Bag Bunch! Never heard of them. Thanks for the I.D.
those "japanese knights" look kewl.
I used to find such neat things at Yard sales..but nowadays not so much.
You sounded like a kid on Christmas morning when they realize they got Street Fighter GI Joes and not the real thing. LOL
+Shannon Helton I am disappoint.
Good score finding that GB power suit combiner being almost complete.. There was ALOT of stuff that I didn't recognize either. But you got a vintage batplane so that is cool.
Just that darn broken wing. But what do you want from a bunch of stuff at a Yard Sale? Take what you get.
Love these sort of vids. Your toy hunting finds. Keep it up!
Those Gobot power suits were all over the flea market we went to when I was a kid. I never had any Gobots, but I found G.I. Joes could fit in them, if you bent them just right. So my Joes ran in upgraded power suits and Tron lightcycles.

Man that Batplane! I love it! :)
I literally would have murdered people to get that thing back in 1991.
same here!
Awesome berserk toys a great find!ive got the sh figuarts Black knight guts!
I'll bet that's an AMAZING figure.
The tall skinny Japanese figure with the hat is Vampire Hunter D
Thanks for the I.D.!
That figure is so awesome, I love that anime, I'd love that fig! The guy in the red coat is Vash from Trigun.
The one with the bit black hat looks like the main character from Vampire Hunter D, and I think I saw Ryoko from Tenchi Muyo in there, too...
Those mini's are from a line called the trash bag bunch. Gimmick with them was they came in a trash bag that would dissolve in water to reveal the mini.
Sweet! Thanks for the I.D. Definitely never saw those before this batch of stuff.
Avatarof Komma: I remember those after you explained them.
That anime figure is Meryl from Vash the Stampede
Lurkno trigun
OH. MY. GOD. WOOOOOOAAAAAAH!!! ALL THIS ACTION FIGURES FROM BERSERK!!!!!!!!! I've never seen anything from berserk before and it blew my mind. Sometimes you get lucky.
I have that wolfwood figure fragile but one of my favorites
The little monster dudes are from Trash Bag Bunch. Looks like a pretty fun haul!
Somehow that line escaped me when it was out.
They were fun. You would drop the garbage bag they came in into water. It would dissolve the bag to reveal which character you ended up with.
Sweet gimmick.
You bet!
Oh damn! Those Lain figures! 😮
I actually liked the Street Fighter II figures the best. The GoBots combiner reminds me of a Power Rangers zord toy.
I will admit to liking some of the Mortal Kombat figures.
Apparently I had one of the red GoBot hands and the Gold version of that red GB that wasn't Turbo and didn't even know it lol
I'm pretty sure I've had those hands and feet in accessory boxes for years and didn't realize they went to that robot until I saw this particular piece assembled.
Those berserk figures are mad expensive. That was actually a great find (if u like berserk anyways).
Good video, I like this series!
Thanks!
The guy in the with the hat and long black jacket is vampire hunter D
EVERYONE has Loco!!
Haha at 8:07 you knocked over the girl figure and for the rest of the video she's just bent over flashing us.
Yikes! Didn't notice that when I was shooting!
It'd be funny if you slap a censor over it.
Those two girls, one in bear pajamas, from box a are Lain from Serial Experiments Lain.
with the large black hat it seems to be Vampire Hunter D
in hindsight, the powersuit combiner was a cool idea. Take a bunch of random go-bots and now they are a combiner team.
Literally ANY Gobots. Well, any Gobot that fit in the suits.
I know there were exceptions, but most of the non-super go-bots did fit and added to the play-ability.
I had that Power Suit Combiner 😮
all worth it for the 6ft extension cord packaging.
ahhahahaha
I checked my utility closet and apparently I had already begun a collection without intent.
+Toy Galaxy I have a similar unintended collection of children. Be safe Dan.
The Berserk figures were kinda big deal 10/15 years ago, at least for me. You got there Gutts Black Swordman and Gutts from the Band of the Hawk. Griffith and Caska came in a two pack, I loved those figures, and I loved the anime.

Thanks for the info. Some things I know are popular/well known but just didn't happen to attract my attention while they were popular/well known.
+Toy Galaxy The McFarlane Tenchi Muyo figure looks like Ryoko. Pretty cool.
Baywatch:Japanese Nights
Nailed it.
"Japanese knights" = awesome Berserk figures.
that vampire hunter d looks cool. Hes the one from the japanese knights bag, one with the broken sword.
I would freak out over the anime figs
Wow i had the power suits for the ship to combind. Totally forgot about those. They were not that great. In fact they kina sucked. I didn't even have enough go bot guys to put in the suits so looked wierd when in combine mode. Good stuff Dan thanx for the trip back
I have never heard/seen meteorbs until this video. I'm assuming they're not very popular.
They're actually part of the Masters of the Universe line if you can believe that.
White outfit girl is Meryl from trigun so is the red coat guy, bash. Tall guy with face on hand is vampire Hunter D
Is that Vampire hunter d?
Once I scored a Hawkeye from the iron man cartoon still in the plastic no card. Just gotta hunt
I want that Bootleg Valkyrie figure, even if it is missing an arm.
+WastedXIII Is it a bootleg? I thought it was legit.
Omg I'd buy that in a heartbeat.
I thought you liked Gobots more than Transmorfers.
Yeah but when you're EXPECTING Transformers...
How much for the 6ft Extension cord cutout?
Need to research some comps before I can give you a quote.
Considering my yard sales never have great stuff like this i would of flipped out finding all of this lol...but i wonder what was in box B?
I hope it wasn't a Power Master Optimus, Optimus and all the other stuff that there was in the instructions pile (that cord!)
+Toy Galaxy yikes! I hope he wasn't either
Trash bag bunch or monster in my pocket that blue Cyclops was a trash bag bunch
the two anime dolls are lain iwakura from Serial Experiments Lain
all i can think now what was in box B? we may never know.
It's gone. Let's never speak of this again.
Beserk go for a bit. And the trip gun figures are not bad aside from the missing pieces
I dont have any but I'm a sucker for any combiner figures be them Gobots or Transformers
That vampire hunter d is pretty pricey
The one with the hat is vampire hunter d
Dan, I hope you wash your hands after you touch those toys. You never know where they been. Lol
Always!
he he upskirt ,,,
Battle beasts
how much for the extension cord tag?
Make a Street Fighter-G.I.Joe video review. :)
Not really at the top of the production list right now. But hey, if the channel lasts long enough... I'm sure we'll get to it!
Cool!
I'll be looking forward to that, even if it will be up by G.I.Joe: A Real American Hero's 45th Anniversary. :)
Guts, young guts green cape, gripphiff silver armor, vas a female. Vampire hunter d. Trigun red and suited fig. red fig named vash the stampede, forgot the name of the other guy but I know that he is a priest and he comes with a wicked transforming cross gun.
priest is nicholas wolfwood.
Thank you!
Hey dan Tall guy with tall black hat, D from vampire hunter D. Dark haired girl is from tenchi muyo. Dark haired girl in white, red guy and guy in suit with round thing on hand are from Trigun. The catalogs really are my favorite part. I know it's just paper, but it's the kind of stuff that I never kept or saw value in as a kid.
Even broken and missing some parts it's still a pretty strong back of stuff for sure.
@@SecretGalaxyTVp
of you want to get ride of that GoBot power suit, let me know. I'll buy or trade. would be kind of cool to have a piece from your channel.
Probably going to throw it on the shelves in the background for now. Always looking for taller pieces to fill some of that vertical space.
‘D’!!!!!
it's a shame that over here there are no yard sales only greedy bastards that will bleed you for half a gijoe, did you spend too much on those?
My goal is never to spend a lot at a flea market. Usually it's just people who have boxes of stuff and they don't know or care what they have. Figures are like $1 a piece.
