Your accordion book is SUPERB. Such a gorgeous way to remember a bouquet and a friend. Also love the t-shirt. Both beautiful and meaningful. A great selection of books in this video, I’m especially fascinated by Held and Correspondences. I see it’s getting chilly so sending my warm regards, Eleanor 🍵
@@theonlyrealproperty2567 Hello Eleanor, it’s nice to hear from you. Have you read any of Anne Michaels’ earlier books? I do think you would enjoy Held and Correspondences. It’s true that the mornings are getting chilly here. Hot tea is more welcome than ever. And warm regards are always welcome too. 🫖☕️
Hi Lindy, I remember when we were in the bookstore and he showed me the book peacocks of Instagram and because we had just seen the peacocks in the park, I really took it literally and thought someone was taking pictures of peacocks and putting it online😊. That’s a lovely accordion book you made and the accordion book remembrances sounds like I should own it, just not right now. I remember the Robert Lewis Stevenson book of children’s verses from my childhood. Do I love tea? Let me count the ways. Aloha dear friend.
@@MarilynMayaMendoza Aloha Maya 🌺 I didn’t explain the title story in the collection. It’s about a woman who makes jewelry from peacock feathers and sells her work on instagram. I’m smiling as I remember this story because the woman is so vivid in my mind. Rajagopalan knows how to bring her characters to life.
I absolutely loved the book Held and am now reading her poems which are also astounding me. Considering the concertina book but it’s expensive here in the uk. Enjoy the talk, I am jealous.
@@dM-ij1we Hello and thanks so much for your comments. I’m delighted to meet another fan of Anne Michael’s work. I hope to create some short videos during the week of the Writers Fest, reporting in on the events that I will attend.

The tea festival sounds just lovely. ❤
@@Shellyish I am drinking a new tea this morning: Jin Jun Mei, a black tea from Fujian. It is delicious!
The tee is fantastic... and the hand knits! I have had Jane Urquhart on my TBR forever. Someday.
@@sarah-roadworthy It’s a comfort to know we will never run out of books to read. 😉
Coffee ☕️ in the morning. Tea in the afternoon. 🫖
@@jorjastonej 😁 For me, it’s Assam, Ceylon, or English Breakfast in the morning, Oolong or Earl Grey in the afternoon. 🫖
