I love exposed PCBs (especially black ones), just makes everything look so much better.

Beautiful... doesn't other encoders come in the way when operating one of them?

Love it! I wish I had a workshop like that to make similar stuff with wood. Definitely gonna bookmark this. My only critique of your video would be the glamour shots at the end; they are cut a little bit too fast for my taste, it feels a little hectic :D

Haha thank you! You definitely should try with whatever tools you have. Yeah the glory shots are tricky since it has to match the beat of the music but that’s just how it goes :)

Adafruit makes a Macropad that would be cool to see classed up!

excellent video, if you end up swapping the switches i think black inks would be perfect to match the walnut

Where do I throw my money to get a 3d file so I can print this for myself? Fantastic work!

This is beautiful, i love how it turned out! Asking as a newbie- does removing the spacers from the pcb affect performance at all? Were they intended to help with cooling, or were they in place for other reasons?

Not at all, they are just there to let the leds shine through. It would work without the bottom piece entirely
