Woah, you must have been missing out on the whole G-Reco line then if you haven't heard of the G-Arcane. There are quite a few gems in there despite being mixed in with alright releases

For good reason. The main series feels rushed and hard to follow. However, the designs were bangers to a good number of people, but the kits either don't exist or were never reissued beyond their first run
The fact that G-Arcane had the similar flight mode fuselage transformation as GN-Archer, as in you drop it forward and tuck the head in, and also the similar name they have, really makes me wanna kitbash them both to make the GN-Arcane custom if I have both of them intact. Sadly, I've kitbashed the shiet out of them both separately already 😂🤣
Really wish there was a Full Dress kit, even if it was Premium Bandai. At the very least they could reprint the G-Witch kits more than once a millennium.
Wish this had a proper transforming hip assembly. It's main design and alt mode are based on the L Gaim MK2 and slim design is probably based on the Cloudsshutz Mortar Headd from Mamoru Nagano's manga Five Star Stories.
Man, i sure hope that someday some of the G reco kits gets restock (especially the G arcane because i want one since forever), in every online shops the g self perfect pack has been the only g reco kit that's being restocked today, which is available up until this day
Sadly Bandai seems to be sweeping the HG G-Reco line under the rug. I was just lucky enough to have the kits available in HK before I emigrated from there
Bandai probably groaned when they had to reuse the Grimoire and G-Self molds for Build Divers. Probably why we never got an HG Mack Knife Gradation to begin with
They forgot it was a transformable mobile suit, was originally supposed to be two seasons, but didn't get high enough ratings, so it was rushed to an end, I have it, I love it, but I still have yet to find a g self that's not a ridiculous price
It's so mundane an excuse to omit a quarter of the MSs features. If Sunrise had given Tomino the breathing room he needed to tell the story, maybe G-Reco won't have been such a giant flop, and the line would've gotten more than 17 kits and be reissued more often

@@mj2005gundam I just got into gunpla a year and a half ago I'm so upset I got into it so late. There are so many older kits I'm waiting for a restock of like the GH-001GRIMORE and the Kycilias forces Zaku 2, and I miss my p-bandai stock of Landman Rodi.
Having something that can transform never do so is massively wasted potential. Reminds me of Transformers comics where certain characters appear, even major ones, but you NEVER see their alt mode. Case in point; Pharma, Tyrest and Sunder, though Word Of God says the former is a jet.
It also pisses me off when there were so many occasions where the alt mode could be used to solve the problems at hand, but the G-Arcane just never does and gets itself into trouble anyway
Here's some food for thought. If they ever made "new" G-Reco kits (e.g. the full dress version of this one) then would it be in the standalone G-Reco line or get put into the HGUC line. Also, if it was put in the HGUC line would it get the gold stripe on the box's side panel for UC or silver for an AU.
They'd put it in the standard G-Reco line, let's be honest. They even put the HG Red Dragon under the original HG SEED line, so no reason they won't put new G-Reco kits under the HG G-Reco line
I'll be honest, this gundam HARDLY used it's alt-mode throughout the entirety of the anime, I love the action, but the acting left me unnerved for some reason.
Hardly, more like never unless the movies changed that. Moreover, the G-Arcane did not ever use the wires or sabers, or even the sword mode of the Rifle. It just did nothing notable until the GFT animated short was made
