Always proud of a South Bengaluru boy. Lovely interview format to peel the mystery of Zerodha and the A team behind it. I pass by the Zerodha office pretty much everyday on my walks and it's a pride for the locality. Have heard Kailash at an IIM seminar and wish many start ups create value from simple business models. I like Nithins objective of risk proofing almost every investor....after all stock markets or any other asset class should not become casinos but help people to achieve life goals in a steady manner....life anyway has many other surprises to throw, why create more

There is always a sense of calm around the Kamath Brothers. I have to tell that I was not expecting that kind of performance from Nithin. It was fabulous.

One word for him “Detachment”. He has everything and still he is so grounded and prepare himself for the worst-case scenario.
The way these three individuals sit so innocently in front of interviewer ,as if they were in a classroom, is quite endearing. Despite their impressive knowledge about everything in terms of market philosophy n life perspective , they remain remarkably humble, and Nikhil comes across as particularly soft-spoken .
The best thing I like about Zerodha is its user interface

Nithin with all shaved off head (showing solidarity with his wife who faced cancer), looked so sharp like a monk of the Rama Krishna Mission. His calm demeanor is so much needed by a stock trader.
They are immensely wealthy, but they are lovely, nice, grounded people at the core too. They manage so very well to think beyond just themselves, which is extremely difficult to do when you achieve such astounding success and wealth. Kudos to these guys for being genuine, chilled and straightforward.

Oh man!! Just listen to Nithin…how smart and honest he is in his statements! No shying away from the risk of change in rules/governance from SEBI..knowing that these statement could not go very well for the investor (which he is serving)
Something unique about the interior of his office which is not ‘glossy’ and ‘’off white’ like other general MNCs!

A big inspiration and a slap on the face for many upcoming startups. So many startups take huge amounts of VC money and valuation thus inflating the company and reducing peofits. Most atartups never make profits but spend tons of money on fancy office spaces, parties, and loooking cool rather than making profit.
Zerodha is an outlier. I have been to their offices and everyone seems chilled out.

i paid 200 for opening an account but couldnt open due to error in the portal to verify my details..so left 200 as lost in mkt to them :-)..how many paid 200 like this as a token to them
You can always call customer care. I have had the same problem when I had opened my moms account due to name mismatch on Aadhar card and PAN Card.
They resolved it very quickly. 😊 They are the best Broker. I love Zerodha!
@@dewanmuskaan I had raised a ticket and had call with their support team...they couldn't resolve so they told try after sometime...but didn't work after that as well...so continued with my existing broker.. 👍
