@@mschiano1 Most of the chords are drowned in the mix and as you said - some of them are more audible than others - but they certainly add to the particular flavour of the song.
they wiped a previous guitar track when they recorded this one. i wonder if maybe the first pass was more regular, like stabs on every downbeat, but they (Paul) decided it was too much and pared it down to this?
NOTE: there’s no guitar until about 0:30 seconds in!

I figured it was something that was wiped for another overdub but some of it ended up bleeding onto another track.
