Yes bass love trout. My uncle had a spring fed pond at his house. The previous owner had stocked it with bass and gills. My uncle did notice many fish one winter. So he stocked it the next fall with 200 trout. Come spring he had no trout left.....but some bass that were about 10 lbs....lol
I guess they're probably chilling at the bottom were it's warmer and only come up when they need air. Not sure if turtles hibernate since I get mixed answers online
Those animals got him over a million subscribers, a Sea-Doo sponsorship, his own brand of cast nets, and a 10-acre property where he's just built two big ponds. Makes buying a couple of trays of trout for them seem pretty cheap.

When you move to the new pond, are you taking your pets with you? Getting Edgar to go along would be difficult, but the bass, catfish, and turtles would be happy, once your new pond has vegetation and cover...
I used a little lure designed to look like baby rainbow trout at one of my local fishing holes a few years back and caught one of the biggest largemouth bass of my life.
That’s the best way to grow big bass. I’m glad that I live in Cali and around this time of the year it’s time to throw 9-10inch swimbaits. If you feed them once every 2 weeks or once a month like that, you’ll get a 15+ pound bass in no time.
They're opportunistic predators just like a bass. They will feed on any fish that will fit in their mouths. Like he mentioned in the video about CA stock trout being consumed by Bass, now they stock German Brown trout instead of rainbows cuz they grow much faster, more aggressive & sport bigger teeth. Makes a bass think twice.
My 3-year-old daughter asked me :" Why can this man gain so many subscribers by just simply feeding the fish and turtles in a pond?" I don't know how to explain to her.
I watched a bass come out of our pond, snag a Dove that was drinking some water, flopped around and bounced back in the water as feathers floated to the ground!
