As a Hornets fan, I always loved it when PJ would go off for 32 or so odd points like he did tonight. The only downside, he consistently has nights where he only scores seven points like he did a week ago. Dude could be one of the best in the NBA if he would just be consistent with these good games.

PJ has been pretty consistent these part 3 or 4 games. Hopefully this will be a trend
in 24 games for Dallas he has TWO games where he had an off night and they lost.
Inconsistency is bad if you rely on players doing things they're not fit to do. PJ in Dallas is doing what they expect him to do. Win them some games and play his role the other times.

They actually play really well, if not, better when Luka isn’t on the floor. It’s no coincidence that Hardaway and PJ have had their best games with Kai and not Luka.. granted we haven’t seen much of PJ and Luka by themselves. Rhythm is a big part of these guys game and Luka’s slow pace/ball-hoggish play can be a detriment to supporting cast offensively.. still a great player in his own right

PJ is just streaky like this, he’s had a few nights where he goes like 5-8 from 3 and then goes 1-8 from 3. They were lucky to get a good night on the night where Luka wasn’t playing. This team is constructed so it doesn’t have to rely on players like PJ shooting 8 3s a game but it happens some nights, good or bad.

It's been 2 consecutive games that PJ has shown improvement in his 3-point shooting. If this continues, Luka and Kyra wills start feeding more, eventually improving their offense significantly. Call overly optimistic, but I feel they would win the Chip this year. :)

PJ washington is so much better covering the low man on defense than Luka that the Mavericks should consider moving Luka to defending at the top of the key. Yes, Luka can get blown by and will constantly, but having pj Washington and Gafford back there would be much better. Luka covering the low man sucks, put simply. He is lazy and just lets his man beat him. Force luka to guard at the top of the key, and defend using your defenders.

He just scored 20 with Luka the game before! Pj got his shooting rhythm these last 4 games, always been the top in Defense since the trade. Great pickup
