It’s simple. You buy ship. It slaps for 6 months. They need to release new ships so they quietly nerf older premium ships. It’s like what the iPhone was caught doing when they would slow down older devices
This is what happens when you get too good of a win rate, k/d rate, hit rate in whichever is your favorite BB. Cruisers and destroyers don't seem to be affected or affected as much. In my case it was the GK and California. This is not new, it has been happening for a long time.
I have always thought they shadow buffed/nerfed the sigma. This makes a random ship insanely good for a few months, but it never lasts longer than a few months. The result is some random ship being the GOAT for a 90-day period. But, who knows. The inconsistency from ship to ship and from battle to battle is too much for me these days.
Every developer shadow buff/nerf their games. It's well know practice in this industry. Especially when they intentionally over buff a new item (or bring back an old item) in the game for a few months to generate sales.
Does anyone know about California..looks like shooting shotgun w full accuracy build ! Very frustrating and confusing..definitely noticing w other ships as well mainly battleships
Same story for me with: Petro, Repub, Mushashi, Iowa, Bismarck, and Alsace. I have FULL accuracy and range builds. Not hitting 40% of my shells. And not for lack of proper aiming or RNG bs.
They 100% do change the accuracy of ships over the updates, sometimes for better sometimes worse. Playing for 4 years now and it keeps things interesting for me and makes me go through my roster after updates. I know it sucks when your favorite ship goes from being a laser to a blunderbuss but it usually reverts after a cycle or 2.
They do the same with the Bismarck. You Rember? She was buffed and absolutly strong.. a few days later comin a small Update maybe 500 mbits and the Bismarck was crap again.. they do a lot of things, a Staff from WG self sayed they have no idea what they say in livestreams and do in this game.. 😂
When WG puts the Georgia back on sale again the ship will magically shoot laser beams for a few months. Great way for WG to sucker people into buying their products.
I wanted the Georgia since I started playing abit over a year ago so when the Georgia white came up for sale I scooped it up I run Sims 16/4 with lachino 16/3 and Cunningham 16/3 with an accuracy build I can personally say without fail 9 out of 10 salvos dispersion is absolutely shotgun shell spraying it's so annoying aswell as disappointing the ship cost me close to $100 AUD which at the end of the day isn't a huge loss money comes and goes it would just be nice to get what it's advertised as when you hand over money
I noticed it too, Georgia became really good when AL NJ commander came out. I wonder if something changed there. You know how ships are really good when you first get them. Maybe this is the same thing with AL NJ commander.
Ye know with all the money they scam from us you'd be suprised how bad the servers and code is... It's retarded how battleships are the only class that can't hit a broadside target at any range. Just the devs making BBs the worst class to play. In combination of HE meta from cruisers and the 4 to 5 DDs per side and carriers in 1 match, bbs are without a doubt the absolute worst class to play. You want to be accurate? Douse your ship with gasoline. Make BBs great again...
I don't have Georgia but I went through the same thing with Alabama. Went from shooting laser beams to being very 'shotgun' like. I feel like it is feeling a little better now, but not like it was. Maybe I am starting to just get used to it now, idk. I halfway feel like WG specifically makes these ships really strong for a while when they are new so players want to pay for them, then as more premium ships come out for the player base to spend money on, they secretly nerf the old reliable ships to frustrate us and make us want to buy something new.
You're so right, Peek. But it's not only Georgia. It's the same with Edinburgh. This ship was a monster. Now, the guns are a joke and I'm almost sure WG nerfed the (bow) armour pretty hard. Edinburgh was famous for bow tanking... Now almost every battleship or even cruiser can penetrate your bow armour easily. Very strange... 🤔
I followed your videos and set my GA up with same commanders with the same skill levels and it was still a shotgun when you were loving it. I could never get the ship to work for me. Every salvo I was lucky to land 2 shells
I have that with many many ships and i know they do something that we dont see. Its just mad that one day your ship can slapp everything but next day you feel like you shot popcorn out from your guns.
Don't twitch left trigger until after firing. Use small tick marks under the horizontal line. Line those up with water line. 1 steady aim 2 use small tick marks on water line
Im still running reload on mine. Its still accurate for me and even if it gets shotgunny its a 20sec reload so i dont mind it But 2 days ago me and my div had some horrific server issues. We all had large input delays (4+seconds) and RNG was pretty awful on us who used battleships
Yeah hidden nerfs; plagues every PvP game. Ive been leveling Russian BBs and the dispersion grouping crisscrossing twice is fun to watch. It seems each faction Bb is better at certain types of aiming. Russian are better at cits but not dispersion, American are better at accuracy but penetration or angles are not what it used to be. It might really be the pen angles , I noticed when I twist my ship the shells hit harder like the movie Wanted.
100% peek. I only started to notice this when the firing salvos with the spotter plane. It very rare for it to be so inaccurate. This was my 1st campaign ship and it happened to also be my most played, fav bb. Since the summer campaign back in June, the Georgia has been very inconsistent regarding accuracy. This update also allowed for the legendary mods to be bought for steel, so I don't know it that has anything to do with it either?
I bought the Georgia w last update after seeing you and xarkun dominate with it. Initially I had the reload mod in slot 4 because I had it legendary. Accuracy was awful and the amount of shatters I got just didn’t seem right (might be due to having less volume and the ratio of shatters stands out more) I’m also not an expert and all armour values on every BB but I don’t have this problem with any other American BB. I’ve even now got the legendary dispersion mod and it’s still pretty poor even after getting the mod multipliers in game. I hate being that conspiracy theory guy when stuff just doesn’t go well for me. But this ship performing incredibly well and then being absolutely terrible the moment it gets released in the store is extremely suspicious.
When i first got the georgia w in a christmas crate i fell in love with it immediately. It was so dam accurate and slapped everyone i fired at but as of a month ago this ship is horrible to play. It doesnt hardly hit for shit all my shells miss and bounce off a broad side ship.
I've noticed this with other bbs. They slap whenever i pull them out and then turn to trash for an undetermined amout of time. Put it away for a month and pull it back out. This happened to my California and QE.
The majority of results I would normally get were painfully similar to the first game in this video: barely any damage because of crap dispersion regardless of ship I played, enemy mistakes not being punished but my own being punished astronomically moreso, and teammates dying left and right while enemy teammates came from SEAL team 6 and survive the whole match. They're big reasons why I stopped playing.
@Let Um Peek I have a outlandish theory in relation to some things I feel I've noticed: I think there is a revolving meta cycle of ships, Musashi was insane last campaign enough to get me to 65% winrate when my luck prior wasn't so good and dev strike queen this campaign doesn't seem to be performing too well. Also I've noticed Colorado seems to be performing insanely well when ever I vs one penning Nagato from just about every angle and evaporating my health when normally doesn't seem to be a tough enemy. Idk wild theories 🤔
I noticed this too with the Georgia and Georgia W. When you first posted the build, I hopped on and made the switches and was loving this ship! More so than the Missouri and Alabama for my tier 7 American battleships. But since training rooms came out, I feel like it's regressed in its accuracy. So I don't run them like i used to. Way too frustrating to know if I'm going to land shells like I was.
Hmmm. Maybe, for each update, there needs to be a set of 10 matches in the training room where a dozen of the same good players bring their favorite ship/build (and always play that one going forward). In that scenario, Peek would've wiped half the red team consistently a couple months ago while Georgia was on sale, but this shotgun crap in this vid would now get him raped - and we'd find out which ships got randomly accurate again.
I’ve noticed this in some ships but not all… specifically my American BBs seem off or just not as consistently accurate ever since the Tulsa campaign it seemed like American bbs got some type of weird thing about them
I forked out the money to get this ship because of your last video and my first two weeks I was yeetus deletus people left and right and now I'm having the same problem with the exact same build
@letumpeek Agreed and FYI just started playing the game when the AGÌR campaign dropped and jus wanted to thank ya brother for all the videos they have helped my game play beyond a substantial difference.
I've noticed it for several ships lately. For me it seems to be ships with 2 barrel configuration that got tapped in the nertz. WV, WarSpite, Georgia and others that were previously hyper accurate are...meh at best now. Happened with the new campaign for me. Needless to say I moved on to Starfield
Honestly I felt it too, the other night when I played it And I have the same AL New Jersey @16:3, Cunningham @15:1 and Iachino @ 16:1, and a legendary plotting room mod Smh😢
I had an issue like this with my republique. In my experience she was an accurate shot from a good distant, then all of a sudden she was shooting like a shot gun, almost like I had a secondary build or somethin. I stopped playing the ship for a long time, and now 2 to 3 months later it's like nothing happened, back to the "normal" feel.
Yes!! I knew I wasn't crazy ,my Georgia now is so inaccurate to the point I stop using it anymore and it makes me mad ,not fair because this thing is not cheap either.
Take it in the training rooms and give it a try up close because it does seem like it still has really good dispersion close-up it's just the farther distance the more they spread and just hit water
Those guns in pc version hits like a sledgehammer, but tbh i cant remember if it has 3 or 4 turrets...but its tier9 with 457mm guns, great secondaries... For example, there is Kansas, floating brick, with 12x406mm, but its sprays like a short barelled shotgun...
Hi. I'm kinda new to the game, I'm playing Japanese. I'm only up to tier 4 the first cruiser and battle ship. Anyway the aiming is ez, it's just that my shots literally go around enemies no matter what range. They fall just short and the rest go over head salvo after salvo. I'm even getting ghost shells back to back, full broadsides all ghost shells. I've had to resort to raming because nothing lands no matter what.
Like I said in the comments on the last video when I first got this ship I loved it it was a beast I don't even play it anymore because it's just frustrating
I haven't played my US BBs much, but I have noticed that sometimes my Georgia and Alabama haven't been as accurate as they used to be. I have gotten citadels and stuff, but nothing like it used to.
My Missouri i picked up in July is the same way. Damn near unplayable. Switched to a grouping build (Cunningham and Iachino). That helped for sure, but nothing to right home about. I thought she might be better than her sisters due to the steel grind. I was wrong. Paid all that steel for a radar battleship.
AI could be the cause. I wrote code for many years but retired when AI was still being developed . With AI you could make the game play less consistent but still within a programed boundary. I use to play WOWS on a MAC before Legends and don't remember this fluctuation in ship/commander performance.
This has happened to me with the JB and the flandre. The JB went from dev striking battleships to not even citadelling cruisers. The flandre was the opposite, and it has become so accurate ive started to pefer it to the JB. Unbelievable
My Georgia has been broke for about a year and a half, the first 3 months was great and then they did an update. If you aimed at the waterline of a broadside ship at 12K you all you shells would hit the water. Wargaming fixed the aiming problem but the ship then had dispersion problems ever since. My Georgia is unplayable. 😢
I switch from accuracy builds to brawler builds for and the accuracy is better than accuracy build for a few battles. Then I switch back over to the accuracy commander, not sure what the deal is. Thinking weegee just trying to get ppl to try different builds.
I wonder if there are times when WG tweaks the server and increases dispersion for everyone for a few days? There are some days when my shells land on both sides of a target and other days when 80% of the shells hit.
Hey I have a question. BTW I agree accuracy seems to have gone down noticeably. My question to all. Is. Did this happen when the ps5 and Xbox Series X version came out. Is this happening in last gen version. The reason I ask is because it seems to me that the ships bounce and sway more in the ps5 version vs the the ps4 version. More like the pc version now. And wouldn't that have a effect on accuracy if so. Has anyone noticed this.
I know this is old... Do you mentioned the Alabama in this video. I purchased it and had a max dispersion of 271 and I was hitting citadels at 20km. Now a month later if you look at the dispersion it has actually changed to 305. Gone from a rifle to a shotgun blast
Here's an idea, you said that they made Iowa's accuracy worse, and gave it to Missouri, what if they made Georgia's accuracy worse because there is a ship somewhat similar to Georgia that will be released.
Was playing yesterday. Bismarck and Colorado (which I’ve been slapping with) the accuracy was horrible! All of a sudden. I don’t know what happened. I didn’t change anything. I was like night and day from just a few days ago.
After NJ commander came out I got a dev strike on a cruiser with just the rear turret. She's still one of my favorite ships, but I have noticed a change to her. Maybe I should try changing my build
I'm pretty sure WG does this a lot in the background and just dosn't tell us - the spreadsheets show a particular ship or ships are "performing too well or poorly" and basically shadow nerf or buff the ship, or it could be a combination of things including "spaghetti code" were it wasn't intentional - so dishonesty or incompetence. It's WG so I would accept either explanation.
Yeah I’m not just saying this to agree but I run the exact same build and I honestly do agree I’m barely getting 60k damage a game and shooting shotguns
I have been complaining for about 2 Months now, the shell miss more, they seem to be more likely to bounce and shatter, shooting over islands definately are off
It happened to me with 2 ships.I had 2 full months of kii being accurate since then its been hot garbage. I also had 3 months of Lenin being lazer beams since, then its garbage too
It's not necessarily spaghetti code. Every developer out there (WG, Activision, EA, Ubisoft) doesn't always document every change they make when they release an update. There was a recent update a week or two ago and the Georgia has clearly changed. I've been playing the Georgia since it was first released in WOWSL (I think it was 2 years ago) and I know how the ship plays.
informative video, totally agree. we know what they are doing. they can't and won't admit because they would be liable to refund us should we ask. still love the game but it's so broke. player base getting worse and worse!
I found how to fix it, my friend have the same problem until he change in the first slot the traverse speed for AA, I use AA and my Georgia rocks but he can't hit a shit until he made the change and score a Kraken immediately, maybe is a hidden stat like the range/dispersion module in Heavy Cruiser's
Before you pay for a premium ship probably you check her parameters and because you like those you buy her. Lets talk about for example a destroyer. You like her detect range, torp reload time, torp range, etc. Later the devs increase the detectibility range of all destroyers in the game - including premium ships as well - or their torp reload time or something important. In this way your premium ship won't be the same what you've paid for. What you can do? Because they wrote in EULA - and we accepted it as players - that you can't buy a ship you just pay for the right to use it you can't do anything else: swallow it and play or leave the game behind and loosing your invested money. Sucks
This is very disappointing. With only 6 shells you need accuracy. WG got the money from people and it’s time to buff the next ship for people to buy.
He hit 4/6 most times he aimed well and only hit 1 shell when he aimed poorly
It’s simple. You buy ship. It slaps for 6 months. They need to release new ships so they quietly nerf older premium ships. It’s like what the iPhone was caught doing when they would slow down older devices
Same thing happened to me. I thought it was just me when I wasn’t hitting anything suddenly.
This is what happens when you get too good of a win rate, k/d rate, hit rate in whichever is your favorite BB. Cruisers and destroyers don't seem to be affected or affected as much. In my case it was the GK and California. This is not new, it has been happening for a long time.
Yea I’m convinced someone from WG saw how accurate it was and made some changes to the accuracy
I have always thought they shadow buffed/nerfed the sigma. This makes a random ship insanely good for a few months, but it never lasts longer than a few months. The result is some random ship being the GOAT for a 90-day period.

I totally agree about ships being briefly good...
Does anyone know about California..looks like shooting shotgun w full accuracy build ! Very frustrating and confusing..definitely noticing w other ships as well mainly battleships
But hey all the rental ships shoot lasers
Petro good example..was great now shit along w countless others! Ie constellation
Same story for me with: Petro, Repub, Mushashi, Iowa, Bismarck, and Alsace. I have FULL accuracy and range builds. Not hitting 40% of my shells. And not for lack of proper aiming or RNG bs.
fr, I noticed Repub went from being a laser-accurate railgun to only landing about 2-5 shells in a broadside salvo. It's really frustrating tbh
They 100% do change the accuracy of ships over the updates, sometimes for better sometimes worse. Playing for 4 years now and it keeps things interesting for me and makes me go through my roster after updates.

You know how ships are really good when you first get them. Maybe this is the same thing with AL NJ commander.
Don't know if it's exclusive to Georgia. Last night I took out my full accuracy Dunkerque and shells were everywhere.
I noticed this in my Republique since the z-44 update, that ship has consistently awful accuracy now and im pretty sure of it
Same thing with me Peek.
Ye know with all the money they scam from us you'd be suprised how bad the servers and code is...
It's retarded how battleships are the only class that can't hit a broadside target at any range. Just the devs making BBs the worst class to play. It’s not just that boat. It’s all of the boats I played lately
All BBs are having the shotgun issue RN from most nations

Yup..it only starts to get acceptable when you're past 90 thousand damage..but only if you're plotting room is upgraded
It's like wargaming using your own build on the ship you using as added bonus for the enemy shooting at you
Don't twitch left trigger until after firing. Use small tick marks under the horizontal line. Line those up with water line.
1 steady aim

The FDG seems to have this problem too. I hit 2 of 8 shells in a Salvo on a regular, on an accuracy build.
And now you know the issue of siegfried as well. A ship thats whole point was it had the tightest dispersion of 15 inch ships got hugely nerfed.
Yeah hidden nerfs; plagues every PvP game. Ive been leveling Russian BBs and the dispersion grouping crisscrossing twice is fun to watch. It’s horse shit and wargaming should be held accountable
@letumpeek Agreed and FYI just started playing the game when the AGÌR campaign dropped and jus wanted to thank ya brother for all the videos they have helped my game play beyond a substantial difference.

I didnt know about this thanks for making this video. I had no idea

Hello, sweatbag here. Spaghetti code will kill the BB Playerbase, especially those who have a 'favorite' ship and it turns into shit like this
I'm gonna be curious if in the patch notes they mention that the dispersion on the Georgia was tweaked
My Georgia has been broke for about a year and a half, the first 3 months was great and then they did an update. Yeah I’ve noticed it in my Georgia as well, interesting
I switch from accuracy builds to brawler builds for and the accuracy is better than accuracy build for a few battles. Then I switch back over to the accuracy commander, not sure what the deal is. Thinking weegee just trying to get ppl to try different builds.
What would you guys say the most accurate BB is atm then? Lol i was saving up for bama but now unsure
Republic same thing, when it drop for purchase I went on a 11 game win streak with 3 kraken ganes. Past week and a half can't hit anything.
Same thing happened to me with the Massachusetts
After NJ commander came out I got a dev strike on a cruiser with just the rear turret. She's still one of my favorite ships, but I have noticed a change to her. Maybe I should try changing my build
Yo peek this same shit happened to my sharnhorst…… wtf I’ve been playing that ship for damn near four years 3.6 million xp 🤯
Now I’ve seen the comments I’m gonna test if warspite is still the same or just a shotgun
WG secretly nurfs its ships when ever it wants too.........
I use georgia w and i have the same issue with it. Welcome to legends
Yeah I’m not just saying this to agree but I run the exact same build and I honestly do agree I’m barely getting 60k damage a game and shooting shotguns
I think they secretly nerfing the ships and pretending like nothing wrong
It feels like they let interns program this game sometimes when playing BB’s that are supposed to be accurate.
I have been complaining for about 2
Months now, the shell miss more, they seem to be more likely to bounce and shatter, shooting over islands definately are off
Its happening to a lot of ships and I ready to quit world of warships because of this I'm sick and tired off constantly getting shafted
It's Wargaming, they constantly fuck with things just to make the game harder so you'll buy more shit. They do this with Tanks as well.
Bro it feels like gnisenau accuracy..
As was the bismarck that ship was shadow nerfed un accurate weak as is the new yearsey too.
It happened to me with 2 ships.I had 2 full months of kii being accurate since then its been hot garbage. I also had 3 months of Lenin being lazer beams since, then its garbage too
Stopped playing this ship about 2 months after it came out due to that and numerous other ships
Do you think placing Scharnhorst back on as inspiration would change anything?
The plot thickens....
They hate battleships. Play bb's and get nothing per match...take out almost any cruiser and you'll get 200k easy.
It's tough being a BB main lately. It seems like anything beyond tier V is highly inconsistent
I bought it for $70 dollars when they had the retro fair, it was awesome, since the new update I don’t touch it it’s unplayable
But also try the New Jersey with New Jersey commander now, it’s insanely accurate now
informative video, totally agree. we know what they are doing. they can't and won't admit because they would be liable to refund us should we ask. still love the game but it's so broke. player base getting worse and worse!
Dm me that and I’ll test it.
Sucks
