Picture this as if you were seeing a mural on the wall depicting the creation of a monster, one not born in this world to be this way, but forced to evolve due to the hubris of mankind and its efforts to develop the ultimate weapon known to man. The beast known as Gojira suffers, seeming to scream in agony as its body expands and grows in ways it was never meant to, slowly growing larger and larger till it was as tall as a building. The mural goes on to show the creatures pain and suffering as it continues to evolve against its will, becoming a abomination against nature. The next set of images depict it as it comes ashore, struggling along as it unknowingly destroyers the civilization around it. Bleeding through its lungs, it returns to the sea after evolving again, only to come back once more. The mural showcases Gojira as it lays waste to one civilization after another, till what is left of man try desperately to destroy it. Soon though, they begin worshipping this god of destruction, destroyer of worlds, as it completes its path of destruction as humanity is lost. The mural depicts Godzilla, the god incarnated, the angel of death, the bringer of the apocalypse, surrounded by the remains of Earth with no life to be seen. In this, it gives off its final roar before the mural ends then and there. Stepping back you see for yourself the story of man and beasts extinction. A story of sadness, pain and suffering that now leaves earth a husk of its former self. Who will know, when all are gone?
Lyrics: If I die in this world Who will know something of me I am lost, no one knows There's no trace of my yearning If I die in this world (But I must carry on) Who will know something of me (Nothing worse can befall) I am lost, no one knows (All my fears, all my tears) There's no trace of my yearning (Tell my heart there's a hole) I wear a void Not even hope A downward slope Is all I see I wear a void (As long as breath comes from my mouth) Not even hope (I may yet stand the slightest chance) A downward slope (A shaft of light is all I need) Is all I see (To cease the darkness killing me)
The picture seems to me as if Godzilla and me were the only beings that exist, whether in our world that is exploding with life or in a world that is a copy of ours but where only the two of us exist. We exist together, I don't know whether we coexist or not. But the religious symbolism in the picture through the Tori or the sun, which looks like a halo and conveys that the world is not from God. to which the music that describes this world perfectly in my opinion.
Godzilla in a music box song, that is new to me. Also the choice of the picture is cute and funny, it makes me think Godzilla is in it's way to do a donation to the shrine :D
I can hear this song playing like near the end of the movie or at the end credits when Shin Godzilla evolves into his final form, conquers the world and takes over the Universe.
YOOOOOOOOOO, I cant believe I missed this! Your version is so calm and yet still eerie and sad. I've been using your tracks to help my niece sleep some nights but I also listen to them to relax in thought. tysm
certainly not the first thing coming to mind when i think of Godzilla, but damn, it's eerily and hauntingly beautiful. great job! yeah, that's the risk of non-touhou stuff, it might get you into copyright problems. hopefully there won't be any more than this one, though. your channel is a (hidden) gem of touhou creations here on youtube! by the way, i got two nice Flats that i'm having my eyes on currently, so things are looking to be better on that front too now! finally some progress in this
Thanks :) Yeah I'm aware of the risks, I did some research before making this channel... A claim is not really problematic for me, unless the owner want me to remove my video. I'm just a small unmonetized channel so I shouldn't get bothered too much by that. And since my covers are often quite different from the original, they are undetected by UA-cam. But If I ever have to remove a video I wouldn't argue, I know it's technically illegal to cover songs without permission. Another reason why Touhou is great, ZUN gives us a lot of freedom, love to him
La edición de "Who will know" es fabulosa; pero la pintura de fondo me ha fascinado completamente. Me ha encantado, me ha asombrado y estoy atónito ante el naranja que anuncia que el sol vuelve a tocar tierra. Excelente trabajo! PSDT: ¿Sabes donde encontrar la pintura?

Listens to this while studying, falls asleep. This happened. I almost failed the exam. Lucky me made it through.
Whoopsie, good thing you didn't fail x)
Casi repruebas, pero EY, viste una de las mejores encarnaciones de Godzilla
Well I wouldn't blame you it does sound good 😊
Good luck on listening to the horror version:)

Nothing makes me sleep better than a Giant lizard destroying and melting my city.....
The thing that impacts me is the image is like, imagine being a Japanese guy and look this scenario with this music is HUGE

Played this next to my nephew before he was about to throw up on his lego city toy set.
XD
Lmao, the funny thing is that when this music was playing, Godzilla was throwing up black gas into the whole city
Now that's a unique take. Really lends itself to the music box genre. Good work!

Esto perfectamente puede estar en una pelicula de terror de Godzilla o algo por el estilo, gran trabajo al hacer esto! Es verdaderamente asombroso!!!
Shin Godzilla es en teoria una pelicula de terror
Bueno terror... "generico" no terror de trauma, no estres post traumatico
reminds me a bit of those classic RPG Maker horror games like Mad Father and Ib
It would be so epic if in the climax build up of the music it transitioned to the original version, that would give it an excellent touch
