I saw the Mad Apple a few nights ago and it was fun. The $25 stage side seats were the best. You are up so close and it didn’t bother me that we were on the side. The Japanese comedian was funny. Great show…. But the next night I was offered half price tickets to the Michael Jackson one and I realized that The Mad apple wasn’t that great at all and kind of a disappointment. If you are only going to do one show while in Vegas don’t pick the Mad Apple . Spend the extra cash and do a different one. I’d highly recommend the Michael Jackson One
Michael Jackson ONE is my favourite of all of the Cirques. I've seen it three times and my review of it is actually my most viewed video on UA-cam. Definitely a fantastic choice. Next time, check out Beatles LOVE. That's another top tier Cirque in my opinion.
Just saw Mad Apple this past weekend and was not looking forward to it. A friend talked me into going.... and it ended up being the BEST show of the week. So funny... and can't wait to see it again and bring friends
That's exactly how I felt! I wasn't really looking forward to it but I ended up really enjoying it. A good value if you get the tickets on the stage as well.
Good review, I bought tickets and then thought, hmmm, wonder if this was a mistake (as I had not heard of it). Glad to hear it sounds interesting. Comedy sounds good to me.
I didn't know too much about it either and I honestly wasn't that excited. The tickets were $25 so we thought why not. Honestly, we were really entertained. We laughed so much and were definitely impressed by the other acts. As long as you have a sense of humour and aren't easily offended, you should have a blast! Enjoy!
Zumanity and Mysteré are the best Cirque shows eva
@@OhYessirrr I've never seen those! And Zumanity is no longer on the Vegas strip. I heard it was fun though!
Thank you for the review! I have seen all the Cirque shows expect Mad Apple. Considering taking my father in a few weeks. I have to ask...Vulgar humor isn't necessarily a deal breaker, but political humor would be. My dad is unfortunately offended easily by Trump jokes, so is this something I will have to worry about? I don't want to take him if the comedian rips on the right the whole time..lol
@@sfduchon I hear you! From my recollection, everyone was kind of fair game which is what I like. No punching down but just punching about everyone haha. I don't recall any Trump specific jokes but I'm sure the material changes depending on the climate. I'm sure you guys will have fun though!

do they check id when they scan your ticket? I'm going tomorrow and lost my id but have my tickets
@@pnwluxuryhomes9252 to be honest, I don't remember them scanning it. Do you have any other proof of age like passport or anything? I think they more so recommend not having people under a certain age so as long as you look of age, I think you should be fine.

I've never seen Ka! I should do a marathon Cirque du Soleil trip where I see as many as I can. Have you seen O? I'd definitely like to see that.

The Beatles was great! I haven't seen the MJ one. I'd like to see more Cirque in Vegas. I do like the variety type shows as well

I haven't seen O yet but it's been on my list for a number of years. Perhaps next trip!
Is this show mad apple kids friendly?
Definitely not. The comedian host uses some pretty dirty humour that wouldn't be appropriate for kids. There are many other shows on the strip that would be fine but not this one. I would also avoid Absinthe and Atomic Saloon for the kids. How old are your kids?
Between 3-7 maybe some magic shows, Mac King and Shin Lim has a minimum age of 5. 😢
@@stArCraft168 yeah that's tough. I know Planet Hollywood used to have a lot of shows during the day in their V Theater and Saxe Theater in their Miracle Mile shops. You may want to look into Gregory Popovich's Comedy Pet Theater for example. I believe it happens during the day as well so no need to worry about it being too late.

We keep meaning to see it! The one time we were going to see it, they had cancelled the show to revamp it. It's definitely still on our list though. Thanks for the recommendation!
We just saw Mad Apple this week and LOVED it. I've seen O, Mystere, and KA. Mad Apple was my favorite out of those. Harrison Greenbaum was fantastic!
I'm so glad you enjoyed it! I was pleasantly surprised myself. Totally agree about Harrison Greenbaum! He definitely made it for me. I haven't seen O, Mystere or KA but I'm heading back in August so hopefully I can squeeze in another Cirque! Perhaps O?

One of the worst shows EVER - the acrobatics were really good; however, the comedians were absolutely OFFENSIVE and disgusting with their constant usage of the F word and the Lord's name in vain. The sexual content was also VERY DISTURBING and in bad taste. Harrison Greenbaum shame on you for vulgar and making fun of other religions - total waste of our time and money!! Worse Cirque Show EVER!!!
