I love the idea of using a unit study approach for science!!! We do the same especially for my kids who just do family science and no extra science!!! My older daughter joins us for family subjects as well!!!

My daughter, going into 4th grade, picked TGATB Marine Biology too! Along with Kingdoms and Classification, which I was surprised she wanted. 🤷🏻♀️ We’re also adding in a Health unit that I picked up at a curriculum swap for $1. So that’ll be all of our units for the year!
We are doing a health unit as well. I recently shared about it. The Kingdoms and Classifications looks really good. ❤️
We are finishing that right now for my current 8th grader. It's so much fun!

We did the ecosystems unit last fall and loved it!! They are fun.

No, we only have done the one. But I will be curious to see how you like yours. It took us like 3 months to do it because I really added some things like additional books and I found some interesting ecosystem UA-cam videos. You can definitely buy 2 or 3 of these units and have a fun year-long science curriculum. Enjoy yours!
Marine Biology sounds like an interesting topic.
