Yep, many times over the years. Swamped a 17 ft. Boston Whaler Montauk completely just inside the mouth of Boynton, back in 1984. 10" inches of the motor out of the water and that 40hp Evinrude dug out of there and we dried her off running down the intracoastal. Lost most of our tackle and boxes plus the coolers. :)
I live in CA now but back in the early 90s used to go thru often on my sea doo. Cool to see this vid and remembering the location like it was yesterday. I remember the weird standing waves that would be in the inlet especially with a strong outgoing tide, and all the colorful corals I'd see under the water in the inlet just after going under the bridge. I could see the coral so clear it made the water appear dangerously shallow. Was usually nice clean swells to play in after I'd get out there. Good memories 👍🏼
It's pretty amazing how well the Boston Whaler Dauntless line takes rough water. I use to demo the boats in the early 2K's off of Boston Harbor. Of all the BW's I took out of the harbor, the Dauntlesses always had such a good ride and dry....even compared to the Outrage line. Miss doing those demo's a lot.
Though I now live in the Philippines I'm originally from Boynton beach and yes I have been through the inlet 3 times many years ago twice on the 2 George's and one time on the B love 3. I enjoy your video's of the Boynton inlet as they bring back great memories for me. What is that board walk in the back ground I don't remember it I do remember a park being there but it didn't have that big of a boardwalk that I can remember. Now I have seen that water so clear that you could see the bottom of the inlet and as a kid I have been on beer can island getting back was scarry but then again I was a kid.
Suzuki throttle controls are touch button to go into neutral which is below the Throttle. One slip of the hand and you don't realize you're in neutral. Honestly a bad design for such a great motor.
Mystery boat rides in that way, you can tell it has the exquisit balance of shape length and beam, part of the smoothness is the horses are set back from the back at just the right length.
Any locals been thru Boynton Inlet?

Almost every weekend. You gave us an 8.7 inlet run rating. Proud of that score, but I'm shooting for something in the nines next time. 😎
I bring my 2008 15’ whaler through it every now and then. Did I see you’re looking for a whaler legend?
Ummm yes!!! One of the scariest inlets around here!!

I think the guy with the trim way up maybe a bit gun shy from a recent stuffing😬
3 Amigos LMAO.. I got it instantly laughed out load.. It was just missing the Hip action.. Nice video..
Glad you enjoyed it
Nice Three Amigos reference!!!
Natural selection! No pfd's.
I used to run it in a 19' center console. Pretty intense when there were standing waves.

I have a Clearwater 2200 CC and love it so far. Took her out in some rough water and she rides good.

Good video! I am watching with interest. Suggestion: add a link to Google Maps to understand where the shooting is.

We never saw any video of any boat striking any jetty. Nice job.
Why didn’t we make the video, the 13 whaler with a blue top
So captains just zigzag without a rear mirror?
Were you videoing today 1/23?
Mystery boat a 90's Jupiter????
1:10 CONCEPT TRIMMED UP A BIT
Nice 3 Amigos reference!
So let me analyze this for a second you're in charge of the inlet you're the Soho of the inlet.??🤔
That's a good movie Steve Martin chevy chase and Martin short with their sombreros
I like it when I can hear the waves more. Relaxing and mesmerizing.
I’m always looking for my car in the lot, it’s a white suv, can’t figure how i don’t see it , anyway love the waves and boats
автор,любитель рассматривать моторы сзади, но не лодки.
U filmed me and didn’t put me in the video
What you got, more coming.
@@RoughInlets 24 Grady white with red t top
That "Skeeter" boat way out of his wake zone.😬🌊🌊🚤🚣
That skeeter had a Mercury on it. Looked like a center console bass boat. Lol
one of the worse inlets to go out of in palm beach
Not sure how you missed him hitting the jetty
Clearwater looks like a baby Hydrasport
Boston whaler are ugly boats
mystery boat looks like an avanti
Monza or a seabird
Never heard of Clearwater. Edgewater, Bluewater, yes.
Clearwater is a town just north of Tampa/St. Pete on the Gulf. lol
Go back to jup!!!! Content is way better
Just uploaded another Jupiter Video
Where is the time where the boat hit the rocks or the aftermath?
The 24 Sea Chaser backing off the jetty. He made a comment about about what happened.
Wrong. The contender is the old 25’ style.
Thank you for the correction!
