Was looking everywhere to find video's about ratio's or rates, best setups etc. So few UA-camrs picking this up sadly snd would be so useful to have endgame recipes setups displayed/explained. Good to see a video about this! Thanks
@@Logistical it's awesome, bought it a few days ago and already 20+ hours on my base. Even though it's early acces it feels way more polished than most AAA+ games, haven't found any bugs and considering i already look forward to start a new base to completely redo it with more efficiency says alot about how fun it is. It's an absolute steal for how much it cost really :D Can't wait for a new video, i've subscribed.
Yeah it's really polished for an early access game, I think the one thing is the english translation issues but thats to be expected. yeah, super addictive, and good luck with your new base, its always nice to take what you learn from one playthough and apply it to another to make things better! Really great explanations here. Apparently I’m more of a beginner than I thought even though I’ve already gotten to making yellow cubes. My whole production line is an inefficient mess though
Thanks!! It definitely takes a few goes to get an efficient factory going, I think it helps when you know what the next thing to do is so you can plan from the start! I’m just about it to make yellow cubes but haven’t figured out a good way of doing it yet! Thanks for watching!
Well done! Thanks for making this video, I was wondering how to optimise things if I'm going with x1 resource mode later and this gives me more than enough hints to implement later! As for now I'm brute force-feed automations with overflow (since I'm playing with x8 resources atm) that gets better once I upgraded the belt with a faster one, still waiting for them to update the game so we can replace belts and buildings with the upgraded version without deconstructing it. Enjoyed the video and subbed, good luck and thanks for doing this in our stead ❤️

I yeah, there are a few games I play where I just over produce and brute fed just because its easier, however DSP, I really want to make things super effiencient for some reason! Beautiful video. Very helpful. Why didn’t they make it use parts per minute. Why say 6/sec for belt and 1.5-.5/sec for sorter rather than 360/min and 90-30/min?

Is there a disadvantage to harvesting more than 12 ore veins with the two miners? Am I wasting materials or will it just pause while it’s overproducing (wondering if I need to go back and move all my miners, because I’m definitely above 12 veins on some belts)
The maths was the reason I got frightend about playing Factorio...started a new world, played a bit and then left it...in this case however, the game offers anything I love as a Space fan and after all your vid shows up exactly when I was NOT looking for it :D
Oh yeah the maths can be very daunting, however if in doubt, just over produce and brute force material into machines! I dont normally go super into efficientcy but I thought a video explaining this stuff in detail would be helpful to some people! Oh I'm a space fan too and love the fact that this takes place between multiple planets! Also I must ask, did you watch Starship SN9 a few days ago!?

I dont think there is a disadvantage, the belt just wont be able to handle the throughput. You could upgrade the belt though!
