Thank you Colin. I took the missus there on June 8 2014. All the way from the San Ramon Valley of the San Francisco east bay. It was a once in a life time trip to Paris-Rouen(Caen). I didnt find the Abbye de Ardenne. (I refused to get GPS😫). I wanted to see where the 12th SS and Panzer Lehr fought. What a mistake that was not paying for GPS back in Rouen! I didn't know where I was going! But at least we got to visit Richter's bunker and the visitors center above it! Really,just stumbled upon it! Never found the beaches either!😕 I stumbled upon and visited the German cemeterie in Marigny,though. Never found an Allied cemetery. So,thank you. Especially for the arial view of the Abbye. Maybe one day we will be able to afford to visit again. We were 51 years old then.
