- This is my instax mini link printer review ! I have owned an instax camera before but never instax mini link printer. But you might be surprised by the instax mini link printer . I find it useful and hopefully this review will help you make an informed decision about getting the instax printer or stick with the camera instead cause both serve different purpose.

Hi, you can only print pictures. Not videos. You can print a frame from a video.

Hi Maddie! You don’t need ink or anything like that. Just the instax camera films. And my printer still works fine and I have never had any issue so far.

Hi I would like to know whether u encountered any issue with the printer? Like any repairs or maintenance and stuff? Cause I'm thinking of buying a second hand instax mini link. So I don't know whether it's wise decision or not. Thanks!
I haven’t had any issues with any of the instax products I have owned until now. But obviously when you are buying it second hand and it doesn’t come with a warranty, it’s all up to chance. Well, it’s all up to you. 😅. Personally, I haven’t faced any problems with my printer until now.
does the printed pic came out with the vintage effect? i am planning to buy this but i already have instax mini 11 with me
It is similar but in the end I show examples of pictures from both the devices, so maybe you can look at those and see what you are looking for. Hope this helps!

Definitely a need coz when your photos on laptop photos gets deleted unexpectedly....it works as a life saver ...and your memories are safe

HI, i don't know what you are doing wrong. But maybe try not to take super bright pictures? Also, if you are using the camera and not the printer then always use the recommended light setting the camera suggests. Hope this helps!

Hi Rea! I haven’t really used the mini link 2 so I can’t tell you which one is better quality-wise. But yes mini link 1 does look better in my opinion 😅

Hi Jessica, you can use the instax mini films that is used in the instax mini cameras as well.

Its my first time use this..
Go to page no.7 of this manual by opening this link. It tells you how to connect the device with your phone.
You need to download the mini link app first.

Hey, I’m not familiar with instax share. Sorry 😅
Instax Share is similar or same to Instax but uses a different App instead of Instax Mini Link App. There are some videos of them here in UA-cam

Nope. If you buy this printer, you’re gonna have to use the same film.

I am assuming you are asking about the film. With this printer you are supposed to use the instax mini films which you use with the cameras as well.

It’s the same Anna! You use the same films so same rules apply.

Hi. Sorry to hear that but it could be a lot of reasons. Better to google solutions for this since I haven’t had any issues like that. Or maybe directly ask instax for help?

Hi, I do think you'll need a phone where you can download the app and connect it via bluetooth, because you need the app to print pictures.

If the app works in your phone and you have Bluetooth then I don’t know why it shouldn’t work. But to be safe, google your phone and if it’s compatible or not with the printer.
